My guy shouting out Hercules for teaching him about Greek mythology when there’s not one single accurate piece of information in that film when it comes to anything other than character design 😅😅 finally someone else notices the daft punk sounding voice effect, I keep thinking I’m dreaming it...
everyone asking if they're surviving because they're vampires, but actually, they had their powers sealed in the necklace, so they had to get that necklace to regain their vampire powers ;0
"Is there a 3rd one?" Oh my gosh yes (at least I think there is)!! Please check out No Diggity, their latest comeback. Their final pose in To Be or Not To Be is the initial pose in No Diggity. I read somewhere that No Diggity is when the 6 monarchs are in hell.
Honestly, I hate when people ask "why do you listen to KPop, it all sounds the same blah blah". There is nothing in mainstream pop music that can compare with this one song, much less the many other KPop songs that have incredible backstories, lyrics, dancing, music videos, etc. KPop is just on another level.
To say it all sounds the same is a mistaken generalisation that I too was once under. It wasn't until I started listening that I realised there's a huge variety of musicality within KPop, whether your taste is light pop, or EDM, or trap or rock or lyrical ballads or whatever, KPop has it all. I am endlessly entertained. Oneus songwriting team is exceptional, they produce some of my favourite KPop songs. Seoho's voice is so mesmerizing and distinctive but enough of the chit chat.
Imagine when they discover that the end of to be or not to be it's exactly the beginning of no diggity coreo and that it's related to the storyline too 🤡🤡🤡
so there's a lot of theories about what the lyrics and video mean (alongside come back home and some of their other title tracks), and i have free time, so i might as well type one of the ones ive seen out if people are curious enough to read it all. ** this is just a fan theory ** oneus were monarchs reigning over humans who they loved dearly and helios became jealous of them and threatened to take away the sun. in fear, the humans sacrificed them to helios, who in turn exiled them and their servants. he cursed them with the thirst to drink blood from the humans they loved. oneus continued to love and protect the humans, but their servants grew angry with how fast the humans betrayed them, and decided to hunt the humans (the ugly goblin guys in CBH). meanwhile oneus fought against their former servants to protect them. this is where the child comes in - so the evil servants want to sacrifice the child in a ceremony to bring about eternal night, and oneus, who love the humans, fight against them to stop it from happening. when oneus win, they seal the souls of the defeated inside the necklace, but they realize that as long as they exist, helios will continue to target humans. so they seal their souls in the necklace. in the meantime, thinking the monarchs are gone, helios looks away from that world, and tasks his son with running the chariot across the sky. his son dies while piloting the chariot, crashing into the earth, and helios grieves. but his grief turns to anger, and his anger falls on the monarchs. he takes away their power, and imprisons them in a chamber made from the fallen sun chariot (that's the set you see at 3:42, the gold bars). then, he sends them into an eternal slumber. scenes like 3:50 where he's tied up, where the lighting is red, is implied to be the nightmares they see during the slumber. despite this, there are still flickering memories of how their lives were (like the beginning scene where they're eating together). supposedly, the only way to ever regain their strength was to drink the blood of the child's descendants, the humans they loved. eventually, when they wake up after hundreds of years, they wish to regain their powers back, but without having to drink the blood of humans. their souls are sealed within the necklace, and they think that recovering that will help them break the curse, so their goal is to get the necklace so that can get back what helios took from them. it's heavily guarded and they get mortally injured, but hwanwoong (the guy with the streaks in his hair) gets a grasp on the necklace and it's implied their curse is broken. the lyrics i think correlate directly to the monarchs' love for humans. to be or not to be - to live or die. to live fully, they need to drink the blood of the humans they so love, but if they don't, they'll die. like the pre-chorus says, "in my life, being with you was the most regretful, but the happiest moment" (4:27). being able to live with humans was the happiest moment for them, but also the most regrettable - because their relationship drew the ire of helios and caused the humans so much pain. and then "i'll cut you off" (4:36) - if they cut off their relationship, maybe helios would leave the humans alone. even if they wanted to drink from the humans, they can't bring themselves to - "you keep living in my heart" (6:00) "please die quickly in my memories" versus "please live in my memories" (6:32). damn if yall read this, thanks (sobs) i have too much time on my hands and i like lore (sobs more)
Okay so who's gonna tell them that the blonde guy(not rainbow highlights)who sings is the same person who has the Low voice and the Leedo who participated in making the song?

Okay so here's a storyline summary of what happens in COME BACK HOME and TO BE OR NOT TO BE that I wrote a good while back, hope this clears up something about the lore for you guys :3 I do mention the white room with gunmen in it and what I believe it represents too! : So as we all know from Come Back Home's story film, ONEUS were 6 monarchs who were loved and worshipped by the people they ruled over, a love equally as strong as the love the monarchs held for their people. Upon seeing just how worshipped the monarchs were by humans, Helios became jealous and threatened to take away the sun from the humans. Fearful of being cursed by the sun deity, the humans sacrificed the six monarchs and all their servants - having been banished to the eternal night by Helios, the servants became cursed ghouls and the monarchs being cursed with having to drink human blood, something they did only to evil-doers as they still held love for humans, despite being sacrificed. Seeing how the now-vampire monarchs protected humans, the cursed servants became enraged - they were disgusted by the humans' betrayal (sacrificing the monarchs and them in order to keep the sun) and a war broke out between the monarchs and the cursed servants. The monarchs worshipped the moon and waited for the day of an eclipse, as a child would be born - one who were to be used for a ceremony to bring the eternal night to its end. Once the child was born, the cursed servants tried to kill the child - which the monarchs were protecting. A war that lasted ten years. In the end, the monarchs finally won, however one servant was left - one they couldn't kill, as the servant had told them that on the night of a red moon, he would come back for the child. The sky turned red with the moon, and just like the servant had told, he rose again and tried to slay the child - however his efforts were futile, as in the end, the monarchs were the last ones standing. The souls of the deceased cursed servants were then sealed within a necklace by the monarchs. Knowing what it would entail for their beloved humans if they were still around (endless war, pain and suffering), the monarchs put down their crowns, and also sealed their own souls in the necklace. At some point, Helios was struck with grief at the loss of his son, Phaeton who died while trying to ride his father's sun chariot to prove to his friends that he truly was the son of the sun god, Helios. Helios's grief then turned into anger which fell onto the monarchs who fled into the darkness. However Helios caught them and stripped them of their powers, imprisoning them in a chamber made of the charred remains of the sun chariot. This caused them to fall into an endless slumber, and Helios cast the most powerful curse yet upon the monarchs - in order to regain their powers and escape, the monarchs had to consume the blood of the prophetic child's descendants. - What you see at the start of the To Be Or Not To Be MV is but a mere illusion - a dream in the monarchs' endless slumber, proven true by the fact that Hwanwoong wakes up from that dream and his eyes turn red. Throughout the course of the MV we see settings that contrast between that dream, and their reality in which they are struggling to decide whether To Be (Live) or Not To Be (Die). We can see how each one of them slowly is shown in bloody scenes - Leedo bathing in blood, Hwanwoong wearing the thorn crown and blood dripping down his fingers, Ravn piercing people with his spear, Seoho seeing that he has to make a choice, Xion's charred hands which he later cuts and feeds Keonhee the blood. We can also see the waking up process - with Keonhee it's especially prominent as the blindfold that kept him blind to reality and kept him in the slumber falls off upon drinking blood. - We see how the monarchs enter a white room, looking much stronger than before and get ambushed by snipers. Those snipers shooting at them could symbolize their subconscious trying to stop them one last time from escaping - however their will to live is stronger, and they reclaim their power, as well as the necklace within which their souls are locked away - thus regaining their full power and breaking Helios's curse. At the end we also see Keonhee taking back the monarchs' crown, meaning they have come back - however different. The ''I have to kill you in my heart'' could very well symbolize the monarchs killing the love they held for humans and realizing that if the humans were willing to sacrifice them to keep something (in this case, the sun), why should they (the monarchs) be suffering in order to sustain the selfish humans? Lastly: To Be Or Not To Be symbolizes a difficult choice that has to be made in order for something to happen - which in the case of ONEUS's story, means either the monarchs deciding to kill to live, or die and sustain their beloved humans. Which directly ties into how TBONTB and a bside on LIVED called ''Dead Or Alive'' are tied together (As said by the members). The phrase ''dead or alive'' also appears within the song.
Juyoung falling for Leedo's voice is me when I first heard this song...😭 Seriously, I've been waiting for this one because I wanted to see if they have the same thought with you and it's worth waiting because they like it too! Henry is such a mood!😂
3:58 "wow! Wow his voice" Yeah i know.. i'm floored,, trembling the 1st time i heard leedo's voice in this part.. and actually still doing so everytime i come back to listen to this song😆
yes! i really appreciate ppl who appreciate the details oneus puts on everything they do from the story, music, choreography, mv and even their clothes/stage costumes. i get that other groups does this as well but ONEUS?? man, amazing. the continuation of this is no diggity where they open the scene with the ending pose of hwanwoong holding on to leedo's left chest (on tbontb as if he was abt to take it) ripping it out like boy calm down. and the symbolisms that were left on the mv makes me realize how low my iq is that i can't come up with a theory 😅 until this date tomoons are left wondering if keonhee was the devil all along and he betrayed everyone or he was the first one that got his soul/powers back. i guess the story is still ongoing and i smell a comeback soon 😏
I don't usually watch MV's or listen to other groups song aside from my ults but the weird thing is I end up listening to them because I watch ReacttotheK, and this got me more interested in ONEUS
Ugh oneus just has such great songs and I'm glad they were able to react to them!! Both are great songs in their own right :) and seeing twice hell in heaven being the next song up makes me soooo excited I love that!!
the song sounding lighter does actually fit though.. even with the darker concept/mv bc in the lyrics they say that they're trying to erase the memories but are erasing the bad ones so only good memories remain. so they remember all of the light happy feelings despite knowing that happiness is a false representation of their reality
I love seeing how appreciative everyone was about not only the music, vocals and rapping but also going deep into the concept of the song and video. Also Ju Young's reaction to Leedo's voice is all ToMoon's everytime we hear him 😂
oh man I wonder if you're going to react to Oneus No Diggity. I would love to see them react to Leedo singing and rapping tho~ I just love watching Oneus reactions
i didn't realise for a while that no diggity was I think the continuation to tbontb because in the choreo the pose that they end with in tbontb is the stating position of no diggity
@@unknownuserg2g hehe yes the ending and beginning pose are the same which is so cool! The fact TBONTB album is called “LIVED” and No Diggity album is called “DEVIL” which is lived backwards! ONEUS concepts are just top tier~

I HAD to come back to this reaction cause I just found out that RBW has their own orchestra and the possibility of them playing the instrumentals gives me shivers
There is another sequel of this, 'No diggity' is where the monarch already choose between 'to be' or 'not to be', dead or alive and they choose 'to be' aka alive. Even the choreo of no diggity is started with the ending of tbontb choreo
ok so all the concepts combined into one: - mythology - shakespeare (like got7!) - complex narrative (reminds me of bts a lil) - music gave me so billie eilish vibes in the chorus at one point - other music things that y'all talked about - harry potter - lord of the rings - vampires
TO BE OR NOT TO BE has a lot of meaning, in the storyline it represents the unruffled of the monarchs where after their battle with Helios they have to decide whether to "live or die" (that's why the title is to be or not to be and in the CD have a song called DEAD OR ALIVE) and they they decide to live but also accept the "evil" that's why the next album was called "DEVIL" and NO DIGGITY is the continuation. 👌
i sooo agree with the last pair's comments, as a theorist XD every time i watch their videos, i learn something new whether its the mv, the choreo or the song itself. and i love stories that are so layered that they can be interpreted in many valid ways!!! still cant crack the oneus story tho hehe

the lyrics i think correlate directly to the monarchs' love for humans. to be or not to be - to live or die. to live fully, they need to drink the blood of the humans they so love, but if they don't, they'll die. like the pre-chorus says, "in my life, being with you was the most regretful, but the happiest moment" (4:27). being able to live with humans was the happiest moment for them, but also the most regrettable - because their relationship drew the ire of helios and caused the humans so much pain. and then "i'll cut you off" (4:36) - if they cut off their relationship, maybe helios would leave the humans alone. even if they wanted to drink from the humans, they can't bring themselves to - "you keep living in my heart" (6:00) "please die quickly in my memories" versus "please live in my memories" (6:32).

Yeah i know.. i'm floored,, trembling the 1st time i heard leedo's voice in this part.. and actually still doing so everytime i come back to listen to this song😆
is there a third one? YEAH!
every oneus comeback i'm like THIS IS 1ST WIN WORTHY and yet 😭 this really deserved a win tho
yes! i really appreciate ppl who appreciate the details oneus puts on everything they do from the story, music, choreography, mv and even their clothes/stage costumes. i get that other groups does this as well but ONEUS?? man, amazing.
the continuation of this is no diggity where they open the scene with the ending pose of hwanwoong holding on to leedo's left chest (on tbontb as if he was abt to take it) ripping it out like boy calm down. and the symbolisms that were left on the mv makes me realize how low my iq is that i can't come up with a theory 😅
until this date tomoons are left wondering if keonhee was the devil all along and he betrayed everyone or he was the first one that got his soul/powers back. i guess the story is still ongoing and i smell a comeback soon 😏
Leedo is the first kpop idol who could attracted me and ONEUS is the first kpop group which could impressed me this much. Tomoon forever 🌙🌙🌙
You're bring justice to this song, thankyou so much. I'll wait for No Diggity:)
Sadly, No diggity is in their "will not be reacting" to list😕
@@raiza1439 Really? So sad but why?
@@fanciautari2752 They'll react to songs which will be educating and interesting for the reactors to analyse
Okay thank you
To be or not to be came out while i was in school so i watched it in the hall- safe to say i was not prepared
Thank you for introducing me to Oneus - this song is so unusual and the music video was quite colorful. Yes I agree it should be a movie.
I don't usually watch MV's or listen to other groups song aside from my ults but the weird thing is I end up listening to them because I watch ReacttotheK, and this got me more interested in ONEUS
2:36: * talks about Harry Potter references in relation to TBONTB by ONEUS *
My Potterhead X ToMoon heart: *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
Ugh oneus just has such great songs and I'm glad they were able to react to them!! Both are great songs in their own right :) and seeing twice hell in heaven being the next song up makes me soooo excited I love that!!
the song sounding lighter does actually fit though.. even with the darker concept/mv bc in the lyrics they say that they're trying to erase the memories but are erasing the bad ones so only good memories remain. so they remember all of the light happy feelings despite knowing that happiness is a false representation of their reality
Every time you hear Lee Do singing and then rapping, you just feel like crying like how does he do that
idk why but I feel like oneus is the next vixx. concept king 2.0
Pls, the girl at 10:45...
I was literally thinking the same thing!
She has taste.
I love this song, and I love this reaction. Ju Young asking if there was a third mv is me lol. I do like No Diggity but I want more of this.
I love seeing how appreciative everyone was about not only the music, vocals and rapping but also going deep into the concept of the song and video. Also Ju Young's reaction to Leedo's voice is all ToMoon's everytime we hear him 😂
i actually love how invested they are with the music video and the plot. The appreciation makes me proud T_T
oh man I wonder if you're going to react to Oneus No Diggity. I would love to see them react to Leedo singing and rapping tho~
I just love watching Oneus reactions
i didn't realise for a while that no diggity was I think the continuation to tbontb because in the choreo the pose that they end with in tbontb is the stating position of no diggity
@@unknownuserg2g hehe yes the ending and beginning pose are the same which is so cool! The fact TBONTB album is called “LIVED” and No Diggity album is called “DEVIL” which is lived backwards!
ONEUS concepts are just top tier~
@@Ashley_pep yup that too my mind blew
I'm sorry but I just ended up watching the MV , I can't stop falling in love with Hwanwoong and Ravn. I'm always thorn .
Yess especially the scene when the one slowed down bullet hits hwanwoong his acting skills made the scene SO PERFECT😭
Feel great when they appreciate ONEUS this way and
Im s0o proud of being a stan to ONEUS, happy 2nd anniversary tomoon
Luvd this reaction thanQ
11:32 this is just flexing your superior skill - I am horrible at simulating a 3:2 polyrhythm
7:36 when she asks if there is a 3rd one, I was "OMG can you pls react to No Diggity???"
thanks for your reaction to ONEUS mvs....
more power to you all🥊🥊🥊
Thanks so much Umu!!! I love the idea of contrasting these 2 songs together not only to connect the story but also to show a wider range of what they have to offer👏🏼💖
Oneus is art
I was obsessed with this song for few weeks, it's so good. I love the way they say 'be' especially in the last chorus :D

I love your reactions!! TO BE OR NOT TO BE 💖
6:11 she talked about the finger while im thought that she will talked about Leedo's back Hahaha 🤣
I HAD to come back to this reaction cause I just found out that RBW has their own orchestra and the possibility of them playing the instrumentals gives me shivers
BRUHHHHH I NEVER NOTICED THAT THEY START EACH CHORUS WITH EITHER DEAD OR ALIVE I'M SHOOK THANK YOU RAFFI
The track in this album ‘Dead or Alive’ is 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 and also keeps the story going😭
yeahhhh finally you guys react to 'to be or not to be', this such a amazing such
God I love and so fcking proud how much this channel grows
There is another sequel of this, 'No diggity' is where the monarch already choose between 'to be' or 'not to be', dead or alive and they choose 'to be' aka alive. Even the choreo of no diggity is started with the ending of tbontb choreo
YASSS!!! Was waiting for this ❤️
ok so all the concepts combined into one:
- mythology
- shakespeare (like got7!)
- complex narrative (reminds me of bts a lil)
- music gave me so billie eilish vibes in the chorus at one point
- other music things that y'all talked about
- harry potter
- lord of the rings
- vampires
Thank you so much!!! I'm waiting for 'No Diggity',their last comeback!!
Hercules is his roman name Heracules is his greek name and Hera hated Heracules and sent the snakes after him also Hades isn’t a bad guy
Yeey thanks for reaction ^^
YASSSSSSSSSS ONEUS GETTTING THE RECOGNITION THEY NEED
Yes, more of ONEUS! Not a fan but I just love them since I've watched the idol room with them and ATEEZ!
It's weekly idol but that's one really great episode
YEY! I've been waiting for this continuation!
YES thank you for this
FINALLY!!! THANK YOUU!>
Thisssss, aware never ready for leedo to come through with that godsend voice of his and than the rapping, pleaseee
Please more ONEUS
Thankyou for reacting to Oneus! Hoping you guys reacting to their group brothers, Onewe! ❤️
Omgggg ONEUSSS!! 😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰🥰
Ju young singing/dancing to Heartbeat by 2pm made my day 🤣
thank you for reacting to oneus!!!
i sooo agree with the last pair's comments, as a theorist XD every time i watch their videos, i learn something new whether its the mv, the choreo or the song itself. and i love stories that are so layered that they can be interpreted in many valid ways!!!
still cant crack the oneus story tho hehe
OMG i love the song! ONEUS
I've been waiting for this.
I love that❤React to mamamoo - Aya our their killing vocals, Lucy (the band) - Flowering, Jessi - Nununana our What type of x , The boyz - Breaking down our The stealer, HyunA - I'm not cool our, victon - What I Said.....
