im in a rural kind of city. i say that originally being from Houston. i wish i could drive my C8 around there with people like that. i have to live vicariously through this. there's 1 highway that isnt even a complete circle around this town of ~130k pop. 5k miles and i want to sell the thing because im so bored with the same short lame ass roads and people....
GT63 is 200k, 600hp, lighter, and has waaay more gears. It pulled as expected. I've never raced any of em in my Kompressor unfortunately. The 392 looked to be bone stock (for a change) that was a good run. All the 392s ive raced have been even OR I have gotten creeped on due to their mods and their 8-speed gearbox. Good shittttt, stay safe!

I’ve got a 2021 Challenger Scat Pack. Is it the fastest thing out there? Nope, not even close. Stock Mustangs and Camaros with the 10 speeds will take it. The main difference is the weight. Challenger is a much larger car, and several hundred pounds heavier. For a tall older guy like me, the room and space is what makes it. It’s fast enough for me. And oh yeah….it’s old school cool!
My stock S55 gaps scat packs all day at higher speeds. He was gaining on him but traffic messed up the fun. I like racing scats because they are close in power to the 55 but the 55 is just more efficient putting its power down, which is amazing because its engine is much older tech.

@@Beyoorslf tbh, you are right to an extent but moreso when comparing the challenger/charger hemi's to modern mustang engines...the mustang basically utilizes a dohc 32 valve engine thus the reason why it tramples scats, and the SS's ohv engines top end, and also the reason why stangs put out so much more "crowd" hunting 🤣torque at higher rpms ...they're more ideal for distant races aswell, even when they only put out a measly 420 crank hp in 2012...Now, when it comes to outer body styling, not the inner, the challenger takes the cake hands down, and to be honest, the modern charger resembles nothing of its 60's and 70's predecessors tho...i feel as if the challenger 5.7's and 6.4 hemi's are the only real vehicles up to date that resemble the classics externally, and by engine design..i've seen some restored classic challengers online, and it's mind boggling how much the new challys resemble them although they're made from much different materials..when i look at a 2010 - 2023 challenger, i'm instantly reminded of the old 69 challenger r/t's, and even some of the classic plymoths aswell, but with the charger, not so much ..just my two cents...chargers still are some of the most intriguing looking 4 door v8 sedans till this day, especially the scat, and hellcat sedans ......still appreciate your input tho...muscle is muscle either way, and once v8's are discontinued, all real hope is lost for muscle fanatics..the new ev charger might look like a classic, but what's under the hood changes everything..

Everyone I know with the GTs have back pain and quit driving them much. The 55 is 18 yrs old and 100k cheaper. S55 is my favorite across the board 🛹 THX for vicariously doing what I can't.😢
I know they're not the fastest thing, but honestly a scat has a solid level of performance I could live with

Actually the GT63 is heavier.
With some mods the 55 will easily catch it, but then you can also mod the new 63.
I thought they went for like 150k but with options they probably can go for 200

3 months late & just opinion. Scat is a real muscle car. SS/5.0 went to a sportier-muscle type category
