    Got the FC610 and put a 3660 motor and a hobywing 120A ESC in it. DumboRC receiver as well. I fricking love it. I wish to open it up to put a thicker oil in center diff and thats about it. What a steal of an RC car.

      It exceeded my expectations for sure. For the price, it is outstanding.

    I love the sound of these trucks Brian. 43 mph is still ripping right along for these trucks. I totally agree with you regarding the controller.400’ is more than enough for bashing, but for spd runs another Tx/Rx set up would be better!
    Really loving your very thorough videos dude. Got a lot of catching up to do as ewe just got our power back yesterday! Merry Christmas my friend! 🙏🌟🎄🎉🎁🙌

    Hi Brian, great videos. Have you tried HYPER GO H14BM 1/14 Brushless RC ? For me handling and keeping wheels on ground is more important than top speed you can’t control.

      Thank you!
      I have not. I have been meaning to reach out to them and see if they will send me one..... as I would really like to try one! This HBX is fairly stable but not like some 1/10th scale trucks I have driven (like my vintage Losi's.... my Arrma Big Rock is terrible at high speed however).
      Derby City RC is an awesome channel and I believe he has tested both! Evan could probably tell you what he thinks is the pros and cons of both!

      @mikerogers1949 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BriansRCStuff I will do that I’ll reach out to Derby RC as I did see his channel too. I have a 1/8 llossi buggy that is incredible but needs a lot of space and I have a lossi 1/10 rally X that is unbelievable on 3S. It speeds of 50 miles an hour and it’s just epic but yeah you need a lot of space for that one too.

      @BriansRCStuff  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikerogers1949 Very nice! I have never had an 1/8 scale car.... maybe one day!
      Yeah, 50 mph is moving pretty good! I find much over 50 becomes more of a speed run thing than practical.... but I love going fast!

      Sadly I don’t believe so. When I talked to my HBX contact she said at that time she had no plans. I can check to see if anything has changed.

    Brian, what runtime did you get with this battery? I’m getting around 15-20 min with Urgenex 3s

    • @BriansRCStuff
      @BriansRCStuff  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly I have never timed runtimes on any on the LIPOs. My Urgenex LIPOs held about 1,850 mAh to 1,875 mAh and the Liperior held the full 2,200+ mAh. The Liperior would also have less voltage sag so it will not hit the LVC as soon as the Urgenex.
      That being said, I would only expect the runtime to be a few minutes longer (on grass the difference would likely be more). If you are happy with the speed your a getting and it is hard to be upset by the runtimes you are getting..... IDK if I would even bother with the bigger/higher performance LIPOs.
      I know Zeee makes a 3,000 mAh LIPO that fits in the truck so if you wanted much longer run time (and likely a bit more top speed), that is something else your could consider.
