    Sis, that's not dandruff, that's dry scalp. Try tea tree as well. It works wonders for dry scalp. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water. I used to suffer from the same problem. I looked it up, it's different from dandruff. Dandruff is like a fungal problem and it looks way worse than dry scalp flakes.

      Dandruff isn't a fungal problem. It's an oily build up that can have a much thicker consistency. It's a natural occurrence that happen with people who produce a lot of oils. In her case she doesn't overly produce oils so she just has dry scalp. What happens with dandruff is that the scalp over produces oils and over time without care it builds up. To avoid this you can brush your hair everyday to move the oils to the rest of your hair which can help stimulate hair growth. Twice a day being the best. Once in the morning and right before bed.

    I’ve just tried this method on my daughter’s hair- she’s had a flaky scalp for a long time.
    I can honestly say this worked perfectly!!! Her scalp is completely clear of flakes and her hair is super soft. I had my doubts but I’d recommend this to anyone. Thanks so much for the brilliant advice ❤️

    I used clay washing to treat my chronic flaking caused by dry scalp. Not only does it detoxify my dry scalp and hair, but it also helps me detangle my hair before I wash it. Once washed my scalp is refreshed and pH balanced and my hair is defined and clean.

    Itchy, dry scalp is not the business. We forget that our scalp need love too, its important to moisturize it after shampooing weekly. That's what I do to keep my scalp clear & healthy. Your end results tho it's shining 😍, thank you for sharing what you did 🙌🏽. ACV rinses for the win!

      What do you use to moisturize your scalp?

  • @oneilliamason9183
    @oneilliamason9183 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    When you wash your hair you not only want to make sure your hair is moisturized but you should also oil your scalp. Take proper care of it just as you do to the rest of your hair. Part your hair in sections (try making them small so can cover as much of your scalp as you can) and then rub the hair oil on your scalp. I would recommend using hair grease or just use some Jamaican Black Castor oil.

    Mine is the same. It’s definitely just dry scalp. So no need to worry, dandruff is actually a medical issue. I started using tea tree products and trust me GIRL!! Life changing. Toil be back to your regular wash schedule without trying to do extra to cleanse your scalp and hair. Also, after using tea tree shampoo and conditioner… MOISTURIZE LIKE CRAZY.

    In your last products video i think one of the things you threw out was the As I am Teatree line (in the blue bottle). Its not the kind of product that gives slip or lots of lather, but its great for dandruff/dry scalp. I use it in the winter. Normally i wash my scalp with that first and just deep condition with something moisturizing and good for detangling. I recommend you give it another try.

    That’s definitely not dandruff, you suffer from dry scalp. I actually suffer from dandruff and the flakes are much bigger and they look oily. My derm told me it’s caused from overproduction of oil and yeast on the scalp. You can also have dandruff on your ears and eyebrows which I do as well.

      @@cheyennexo5714 Dandruff is where the natural fungus on the scalp is over productive and causes yellow white flakes. It can weep when scratched too much and the scalp can look red. A dry scalp is simply and underproduction of sebum. Daily scalp massages and a light oil such as almond or jojoba can be used nightly to moisturise, whereas dandruff will need a medicated shampoo to remove the oily flakes 💗 hope that makes sense

Red spots, sebum (I guess?) and dandrufffffff. My scalp was on fire. I had them in for a wedding and after the wedding I unfortunately couldn’t keep them in. You could have a sensitivity to the oil. Not all skin is the same. I have naturally curly hair, and was told oils were good for me...until I used them and had horrible reactions. I can't even put conditioners too close to my scalp, only on the ends. A vinegar rinse once a month is a wonderful antifungal, kills bacteria, and also gets rid of product build up. Sometimes it's the ph levels of the oils, sometimes it's the strength. Best wishes to you!

      Oils are drying, they do not moisturize they seal but I was told they are not necessary and shouldn’t be applied on the scalp as it would dry it out. Conditioners should also not be applied onto the scalp as it clogs pores and will cause inflammation of the hair follicles
