Oh this is perfect! I have bigger thighs and knees and I have a pair of shorts that I really like the length of but one size is too small and next size up is a little too big. Hard to find knee length shorts for women that cover the knee, so I’m totally going to try this on the bigger size I kept. I happen to have the elastic already, too. 🙂
I just made mine smaller than needed so that the pants get tighter. So if the pant area is 4" wide, just make the elastic 3" wide if the pants are too loose. If the pants are super loose, then make the elastic even shorter. You may have to experiment.
Like your suggestion! Fyi, you can also use a small safety pin to pull the elastic through.
Where has this hack been all my life. Thank you!!! I tried it this morning instead of getting rid of my new fav shorts which were too big. Thanks!

Many thanks 😊
That’s even better than I was thinking about doing it. Thanks
I’m excited to hear about your channel!
Cool, thanks. I'm kind of all over the place. (A little something for everyone.)
very smart 👌
Use a safety pin on one end & work it thru the slot.
Safetypin it's good and hair clip
How do you figure out how big to make the two elastics?

👏👏
you say eyand / ayand for “and”, and peyants for “pants”, a few double vowels in your pronunciation
Cool! Finally, someone noticed! I was seeing who was paying attention. LOL - You won! Your title is "Thee Graand Maaster"
