- Found a nice creek side camp in the Red River Gorge, Kentucky. This area in the Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky has been a great place to explore. Spending a nice relaxing day at camp is a great way to recharge for upcoming adventures.
*My name is Brian. I started living full time in a self built camper van in 2014 in my hometown of San Diego, CA. I hit the road full-time in 2015 to pursue seasonal work and travel around the U.S. I find free camping on public land and enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in nature. Join me on my adventures.

It's like a whole different world. I miss those days like that when I was a kid. Creekside with my knife, pellet gun or .22lr, not a care in the world.

Thanks for show casing our beautiful state! Since the quarantine my wife and I have spent our Saturdays exploring Kentucky and found the Red River Gorge as one of our absolute favorites! Now I’m laid up with a heart issue but when this is resolved we’re going to go back up there. If you have time; try Cumberland Falls, East of Corbin off of 1-75. We had our 1st date in KY there over 50 years ago. God speed!

I am so happy you made it to the Gorge. I just bought a house next to the Gorge. I am a nurse and I am on a plan to pay off my house in 5 years and get a RV. I then plan on being a travel nurse. I hope I get to meet you one day Brian. You have been an inspiration to me.

There is a lot of technical rock climbing available in the Red River Gorge. When I was stationed at Ft Knox, KY, I used to take weekend trips to the Red River Gorge to go climbing. I loved it there!
I use to do a lot of trout fishing on otter creek in Ft Knox.

that spreader is awesome!! you should open an etsy shop and advertise to other van dwellers what you make. That is so incredible. We are RVers but I would still be a customer.

What a heart warning video. Thanks 🥄 I know you can wittle some fine spoons. It brought back lots of memories of my Grand Fathers down by the lake fishing and doing whatever we wanted. I used to build ( “forts” ) llil huts.
