Type: Counter Trap Card
Effect: When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated while you control an "@Ignister" monster: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only activate 1 "A.I. Said No!" per turn. If "Ignister A.I.land" is in your Field Zone, you can activate this card from your hand.

I highly recommend it. Has a lot of valleys but a LOT of peaks as well.
Fun fact AI Love fusion is not only a pun of I love you and the japanese word for fusion being yugo. But is is also the representation of Earth's love for Aqua that Ai remembers him for.that is why earth golem is a fusion monster
it also represents Ai's completely nonromantic lifelong bond with Yusaku. very straight, very good friends, history will remember them as great roommates.
It’s funny how @Ignisters are one of the only vrains archetypes that could be used in a vrains speed duel
I seriously wanted to play this archetype since I love decks that can tap into the full summoning spectrum, such as Odd-Eyes. But of course it had to be the rarity-locked archetype of the set.

Glad to see the ignisters get the love they deserve, one of my favorite archetypes of all time. Downside this reminds me that the English dub is *still* waiting on the last 12 episodes of vrains, which is where these lovely blobs got most of their best showings in the anime
Honestly Cyberse is slowly becoming my new favorite monster type.
I can see why, they're getting some pretty cool stuff!

Its funny because konami did NOT want "cyberse" to be itself an archetype, but, they instantly afterwards released a ton of cyberse archetypes (like code talker salamangreat, @ignisters) that pretty much work completely together as well as generic cyberse you can use to pump up alot of cyberse decks (backup secretary)

AI had a tragic story. From the way he was created to the way he turned evil, only bad stuff happened to this little fellow.
I'm so glad you mentioned TA.I. Strike's ability to be use on any two monsters because I use it in Timelords.
Also, with regards to the Fire Phoenix-Donyoribo combo, I playtested using 1 Mathmech Multiplication to use as Link Material if I can summon Fire Phoenix in the Extra Monster Zone - I think you know how the rest of the combo unfolds - and the feeling when you pull it off is GLORIOUS.

@@GoldenNovaYugioh Honestly, TA.I Strike is a guilty pleasure of mine because I love the way it functions so if I can't outright fit it I'll side it, especially in decks with low ATK monsters or good battle interactions/floating effects.
As for Mathmechs, I first looked into the archetype after finishing VRains, and when I read Multiplication's effect, I immediately thought of Fire Phoenix... fast forward to @Ignister getting released (one of my all time favourite archetypes) and I had to test it because the concept of dealing 9200 points of effect damage in one attack was too tantalising to pass up, and the rest is history haha.
I love filthy synergies that weren't intended during card design.
When the archetype was 1st announced I had to seriously fight with the urge to change by twitter name to Ignister. I was somehow successful in that endeavour, which is my greatest regret of the last 5 years.
Think of the free engagement that could have been!

I had my profile picture changed to their archetype symbol
Cyberse wickid and Cyberse witch are also good options that can help extend plays and help search out bururu and water leviathan
After the stream, I can see what you mean about Wickid, it was super nice! Gonna have to give Witch a try next time I pick up the deck!

then I might as well put my favorite wickid combo here for future reference.
If you open aichichi, normal summon it, link into infant, add oikari and add ai land, activate island, special pikari, add a idle reborn, then link into wickid. From there you have plenty of options depending on which other ignisters are in hand but if at least one is doshin or hiyari you can easily go into Templar and your plays continue from there
Poor Ai, he just wanna ressurect and recreate his friends but ended up creating them as playable archtype instead
It's a real Fullmetal Alchemist situation, right there.

This deck is my favorite deck of all time. A.I. love it. I've made arrival @inister, light dragon, and access code talker in one go multiple times.
A.I. find that to be a huge achievement!

though i’m in the process of perfecting “code-nister” deck so the decks crazy explosive.
after loads of play testing i’m fairly close to “The One” profile i’m finally comfortable with, can’t wait to pioneer a new @ignister variant into stardom hopefully.
Hearing that music gave me some huge nostalgia vibes. Might have to dust off my ps2 now
Wow, this video was so amazing. Not only was it a great rundown of the archetype, but the emotional fan overload really brought the nostalgia in, not to mention all of the jokes and puns.
I've played with @Ignister a lot online since the Lightning Overdrive support was announced, and it's a really fun deck to play with and test around. Right now, my deck build uses every card in the archetype and the support series, except RA.I.te of Battle, Gussari, and Gatchiri. Even managed to fit in One-Kuri-Way, a spell card that can Special Summon a Link 1 monster in either graveyard to the owner's field OR return it to the Extra Deck. It's mostly just a fifth Reborn for Dark Infant, but it can come in handy against Salamangreat decks, too!
One of the best things I've learned playing the deck is that Achichi @Ignister is a fantastic card to have in the grave, and for more than Fire Phoenix's effect. I use it mostly to destroy a weak Attack position monster I control. That way, I don't take damage from the battle, and my opponent's big bad monster can't replay their attack.
Overall, the deck can summon out The Arrival very consistently, and if you can't summon it with 6000 ATK, there's plenty of other ways to beatdown your opponent. When A.I. First Met You can turn a bad starting hand into exactly what you need to finish off your opponent and is absolutely the best new support to the archetype. Now all we need are REPRINTS so that finishing my deck doesn't cost $110 for FIFTEEN CARDS!!! That's not even including the unreleased support yet! Come on, Konami!
And I'm still waiting for Judgement Arrows!

I love the @ignisters, won most of my duels with that deck on link evolution. I just wish they released these cards as well to the public to fully complete the deck.

A bit late for the discussion, but an extra benefit of Achichi is that because its grave effect pops your monster during the damage step, and it can be used when it is attacked by your opponent, you can use it to dodge a potentially lethal blow from your opponent.

The all over-ness of the monster designs(theres a sea serpent, something that looks like it came out of a Neo spacian deck, an artifact AND big gardna) and the somewhat wackiness of the names of cards(AI love fusion), it sort of reminds me of ojamas but without the "clown" aspect. Ojama nekroz?
"Ojama Nekroz" is a true, yet cursed statement, and I will not rest until it has been purged from this world.
I just came back to yu-gi-oh for the first time in years with the Master Duel client, and I've so overwhelmed haha, back when I played a lot in high school, we only Fusion and Ritual Monsters as the weird types, now there's so much more!
I ended up focusing on an @Ignister deck solely cause I love A.I. :P
I like how you commented that only Cosmic Cyclone can really take out A.I.Land... When it actually can't, not permanently. That's part of what A.I.dle Reborn's "banish this card from the GY and 1 card from your hand to add a banished A.I. card to your hand" effect is meant to be used for.
You're right, I completely missed that! Thanks for catching that, it's cool to know the field spell is even more resilient that I thought it was!
A.I.dle Reborn's "banish this card from the GY and 1 card from your hand to add a banished A.I. card to your hand" is an option to receive A.I. Land back from banishmet, but in my oppinion it's true purpose is to get back the TA.I Strike and use it immediately, as both are activated during the battle phase. This can take many opponents by surprise and is a pretty good combo to consider.

one neat 123 combo i created is fire phoenix + Donyoribo + Tai Strike tai strike makes fire phoenix match attack which becomes the new burn damage which then gets doubled and then if the battle destruction succeeds then damage again so basically you deal tripple that monsters attack as damage

With just 1 card (either achichi or pikari), you can make Arrival. Then the next turn, just reborn dark templar and then link summon using arrival and dark templar for accesscode talker so accesscode will have 8300 atk.
I've run Gatchiri in my Code Talker deck, and I currently use The Arrival since I can easily combo into it via link chains. Although, I have recently considered using other @Ignisters and their support cards. Any suggestions for which I should use?
I love how this archetype is base on AI character. Having subtle details in card effects. To bluntly stating his relationship in the boss monsters.
Only Dark and Fire are link cause he was closest to flame.
Water Ritual for Aqua on their side.
Earth Fusion cause Earth love Aqua
Wind Synchro since he neither a true enemy or partner (guy brainwash after all).
Light is XYZ due how much AI loathes Lighting.
I thought that aqua and earth were ritual and fusion respectively because both types of super types (usualy) need spells

Honestly, this is probably the only Cyberese archetype I care for. You did good. Too bad I missed the premier.

@@GoldenNovaYugioh they appeal to our desire to be free with no constraints. Also the only reason it isn’t like the other Cyberese archetypes is that it has variety instead of * Insert Japanese “Link Summon” from Playmaker *. Still love what Vrains did bring up to the Yugioh table though.
The attributes pairing similar to you & AI is also applied to the boss monsters themselves.
Dark & Fire: No DEF, both are Link-3
Wind & Light: 1500 DEF
Earth & Water: 2000 DEF, both need to be summoned via another card effect (ritual and fusion)

As a person who uses @ignisters I use both arrival and firewall darkfluid. I love them both.
After taking it for a test drive, I gotta agree with ya, they're both really fun!

Surprised you didn't mention Cyberse Wicckid, Witch or Splash Mage considering they enable your Achichi or Pikari to be a 1 card combo for all your plays (Witch is exchangeable with Splash but it and Wicckid are absolute musts).
I'm gonna be honest, I completely missed them during the initial research portion, but when I was getting ready for the stream, I saw some builds with them, and yeah, those cards are bonkers. I'm so sorry I missed them!

Ever since I started playing Yugioh Master Duel, I actually built myself an @Ignister deck with about 2 of almost every card, plus adding in Firewall Dragon, Firewall eXceed Dragon, and Firewall Dragon Darkfluid. Honestly, I love the deck so much. It's the best deck I've ever used and played. I'd love to actually own all the cards I put in the deck to make it real, and I'd also love to have the cards used in the anime like Darkwight @Ignister with a pretty good bit of burn damage.

@@rafe100 Mine? Yeah. I actually don't even overly think it's that hard a deck to beat since my starting play is usually the same.
A.I Judge You
Counter Trap
When your opponent activates a card or effect while you control a "@Ignister" monster negate the activation of the card and if you do shuffle that card. If you control a "Ignister A.I.land" you can set this card from your graveyard to your field but banish it when it leaves the field. If you control a Link 3 "@Ignister" your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this card activation. You can only use one effect of "A.I Judge You" once per turn.

If you control a Link 3 or higher "@Ignister" you can target a monster your opponent controls and special summon it in a zone that link monster points to but if you control "Dark Templar @Ignister" you can target a aditional monster. You can only activate one "A.I Control You" once per turn

I got to platinum rank in master duel going first with this archetype. A boss monster that’s unaffected by card effects and can reach 6000 attack? That alone got me hooked.

It's weird that this archetype shares a name with a completely unrelated Synchro monster meant to be used with Pendulums.

Can you explain Virtual Worlds and why for the love of god, are they not Cyberse monsters. It's literally in their names, "Virtual World" but for some reason they are Psychics?

This Archetype seems really fun, lots of combo potential, and all the spell and traps have such awful and expressive in their art.
I'm trying to build one in Master Duel, and I'm struggling to find the perfect 1st turn strat.
Fun story. I was up against an Eldlich deck that went first, and he used summon limit on me. However, I TA.I. Striked his golden lord, and my Pikari destroyed it. I summoned Fire Phoenix for damage, and I managed to knock him down to 400 life points. I couldn't finish the duel due to a bad connection, but I hoped I made that Eldlich player sweat a little. Quick question, can Linguriboh stop Counter-Traps? Forgive me if this question sounds stupid.
The best 1st turn board in my opinion is having Arrival alongside Cyberse Quantum Dragon while under the effects of Gatchiri. Both of them are immune to card effects, one bounces monsters to the hand once per turn, and the other is a 4k beater with the ability to destroy a card and create a token. If you have extra resources, you could also have Danmari in the grave and Linguriboh on the board.
Counter traps can only be responded to by other counter traps.
Me, 21 minutes into the video, and has never seen VRAINS: "Man, these 'A.I.' puns are getting really out of hand. Wonder how much more they can get out of this joke?"
*OCG: "When A.I. first met You", "You and A.I.", and "RA.I.te of Battle" three-part story with both [ Yu- ] and [ A.I. ] puns.

The puns will never stop. They are a force beyond the scope of human understanding, and Ai is their prophet.

You know, I've just realized that the Arrival's materials and effects are generic. Any deck that runs a bunch of different attributes can theoretically make this if it fills up all its zones.
