This is probably the fastest lap times that I've seen done at Grattan at a club race. Excellent work!

@@jeffo_511 I'm sure that you would've! I used to race there in the late 90s and early 00s with GLRRA (which no longer exists).

@@jeffo_511 I raced a GSXR750 and an SV650 in the amateur class. Nowadays , I'd be racing in the vintage class with those bikes! 😂

@@jeffo_511 I race just across the border in Canada ... Our tracks aren't any better really lol ... I was potentially thinking of doing some races states side just to change things up ..

Badass man. How do you get into racing sport bikes? I’ve ride dirt bikes and don’t have a desire to ride street bikes for transportation, but always wanted to get into racing them. No idea where to start . Looks incredible though great racing . Way to go!
So they have diff organizations you can ride bikes on closed tracks. Start there and learn a little and get alittle faster. Then from there the same organization can offer a race license once u take a one day class. Then your racing. lol. Plenty of race org all over also. Look up www.sportbiketracktime.com they are one of the biggest track day orgs in the USA

@@jeffo_511 so if I signed up for Grattan would they put me in more of a beginner group when I get there? They divide everyone up once there? Appreciate it!
@@worldwide1873 yep. They will put you in what ever group your comfortable with the pace. They have some really slow groups so you’ll never be forced to faster then your comfortable going.

Ya. Little. They repaved it last couple years but they put sealer all over and now it looks like this. Lol
@@jeffo_511 Damn shame. A lot of floks got mad when petrucci was in motoamerica trash talking about track safety conditions but he wasnt wrong. It would be nice to see American tracks take upkeep more serious
