202 torque from an NA 4 cylinder is insane
272 powers in this engine is pretty good, with a 2.4 displacement
200tq is very normal with that mods. You think it's insane because here in the USA you are all obsess with damn RBC IM which is garbage
@@Esdru221what IM isn’t garbage then?
@@calebstoguefactory3248 RRC, RSP and skunk2
@@Esdru221 one in vid is ported so likely higher flow than RRC but other 2 yeah might make smidge more power this engine is primarily compression limited though
I love all of these random stock looking 8th gens running around Canada making silly high numbers thanks to Nick.
Great video as always, As a fellow 8th gen owner i absolutely love the 8th gen content seeing all the different combinations of k series and how it performs.
Wow thanks!!! Its awesome that u add so much details!!!. Very under rated youtube content!!
Great results 👍🏼
Awesome comparison. Good power
sweet baby Jesus gotta love that crossover 😊
Crazy numbers!
I approve this video
Nick did you increase timing after going e85 at all? Why or why not
250hp na damn thats nice
I love your videos and tuning sessions Nick,
Do you do e-tuning by any chance for an 8th gen Si Kraftwerks Supercharged?
Great numbers. Any chance you could share a little insight on how you go about tuning the timing map? I understand if you don't want to get too specific but a rough idea on where to start would be awesome.
Nice 👍
Next move for the tsx
i love your videos 🫶🏼
That’s a big difference. That graph comparison has around 50 whp difference around 5,500
💯👍
Need some 3.2's to make power higher in the rev range
Where is this guy getting ethanol from in Toronto?
272 NA? Damn!
hey dude, thats insane tuning, can you remote tune ?
I have a guy who can charges like 150. Took me less than 30 mins
Hey nick, what brand would you recommend for drop in cams, drag cartel or skunk2? I have a ‘15 Civic Si and wanted to put some in
Wanna know what you think based on experience
Ive heard not such good things about skunk 2. All the big boys frun drag catel
@@jesselee4405 correct me if I’m wrong lol, but I’m trying to search for drag cartel for the k24z7 engine and there seems to be none?
Only thing I’ve seen for my car are 4piston and Skunk2
@@jesselee4405 and since I’m here, might as well ask. When running anything past “drop in” cams, is upgrading valve springs and retainers sufficient enough for long term use?
I wanna run a more advanced cam then “drop in” but all I see companies recommend as a necessity to upgrade are the springs/retainers, nothing else.
@@_Silver15Si_ yes you'll need to upgrade your valve train.
@@_Silver15Si_there weren't any for the k24z7 but 4piston created a cam for the k24z7 since there were lots of requests! Look it up
Is the K20A2 head worth swapping onto a K24A2? Also could you run a K24A1 block with a K20A2 head, and should I?
Not until big power
Yea bro not worth it
Im curious is revving that hugh on stock block is safe?
Yes with upgraded fuel pump
Technically no, but most people do and their engines hold up.
@@tonym4136Piston speeds and stock internals are the bigger factor here.
I have catless fbo with 2.2 dc cams why am i just 228whp and 159 torq
k20/k24 plus ethanol makes a huge difference, porting too
Is that with a stock port k20 head
No heads ported
Dang im excited currently building my k24a2 with rrc piston with a ported rbb head cnc rbc manifold with zdx tb but using a dtr big tube 4-1 and going to be using dc 2.2
Also the tb spacer to the RBC was ported perfectly smooth
@@DJFresh1997 yea i have my hybrid racing rbc to zdx adapter ported
LOL now ik what e85 ain’t really worth it on a stock bottom
Yep
Anyone knows what headers will actually fit with a k24 swap ?
Skunk 2 makes them now
272 whp seem low for DC 2.2, I've seen the DC DIC put down 265 whp.
So many variables, especially one Dyno to another
272 is not low at all, seems high if anything
Waste of money
Lol
Everything is a waste of money. There's always someone faster
