B series is a great platform but you probably didn’t see a lot of k swap then because a k20 can do that horsepower or more with full bolt ons and stock internals and a good tuner and if you do a Frankenstein like they do on this video you can have 300+ on stock internals so in terms of power k series is way ahead but is more expensive too so that’s why b series still around in many builds

Have the similar setup but I did ultra race manifol and b16trans with 4.7 final drive. On pro2 cams 240whp 178tq and tuned on 93octan I shoulda went with m1 or e85 fuel
I had a b20v build civic years ago and man that thing was fun as hell, unfortunately insurance is a bitch and some lady ran a red light U turning into me and wrecked my precious car 😢 sad days indeed, insurance offered me 900 for the car lmao yea right.. ended up selling the car to a buddy for 1.5k the motor still ran, took a huge loss but I had fun with it while I had it

I've been struggling to find a B series intake larger than 3 inches and would love the tapered design like that one is 4" to 3.5"
I don't have the balls to drive like that on the freeway anymore, too many off duty or unmarked cops out there and they WILL drop what they're doing and chase you if you're knocking on 140 mph even if it's not their jurisdiction. Over 100 mph they can give you a felony and jail time if they feel like it. Great sounds and great shifting!

Yes it can, but I wouldn’t recommend going above 12:1 on 93 pump gas, I’d switch over to E85 (I’m currently running it) for 12:5:1 & up on compression.

@@B20Sancho 1000cc is a great middle ground for all motor cars allowing for different types of fuels within the 250-300whp+ range power figures, both E85 & M5 need a bigger injector as it takes 30-45% more to make the same combustion as regular gas. This is fully built bseries though. Kseries can make the same power with stock internals.

@@dr.mantistoboggan4746 But you have to look at reliability as well. Stock k20 hold its own even people use stock k20 with turbo and make 500hp ease.

Tach spins to 9, Dyno reads to 8200. Especially with pro2 cams, def revving to 9 and maybe past. I think the Dyno was off but it sounds healthy!

What I would do is throw 7psi of boost on it and then it’s would be a low boost 350+hp car
K swap is still better k24a puts down mid 240s stock with 3in exhaust. I loved b series until I went k almost 3 years ago now.
Yeah. But something about bseries. The way vtec kik in is not the same as kseries. Tbh Bseries is enough to have fun K is just faster of the bat.
K is probably even cheaper these days. Only reason I'm into b is because I don't want to ruin my ef with a k.
