Yes yes yes! Leaning in to child-led learning. It’s my “mantra” whether I’m speaking with a 1st year or a 15th year homeschooler. Why? Because it works!! (& I’ve homeschooled four very different kiddos, as everyone shares, but it’s so true, they are really really different)!
Yes!!! Totally agree with you! I’m always going back in forth to teach reading/writing for my son right now. He’s almost 6 and I feel like he’s not ready, but he does tell me all the time he wants to read! 🤷♀️ we are taking it slow!
I can imagine the other parents getting upset when me or my kids share the Gospel with them in the future. We’ll see how it goes but I fully expect good sobering conversations with my kids over what happens when we get rejected for our faith.
I think homeschooling doesn't have to be complicated. I picked an accredited curriculum and have my kid participate in an extracurricular at a private school and next year we will do the same. My kid absolutely loves homeschooling right now. She loves her schedule. And she seems less stressed and happier than before

👏 great list. Funny that we both released videos on the same topic within 24 hours of each other 😂
Really! Wow. I didn't realise!

Yes. It's part and parcel of Christianity. Christ led the way on the cross with rejection. Good comment - thanks.
