    Hello thanks for the video. After 2 weeks of using lotion on my new tattoo, I stopped applying it and after 2 days i got itchy bumps all over my tattoo.. hydrocortisone didnt work, but when i started re applying lotion "bepanthen", it seems like it starts to get better. Really would appreciate your help

My skin is just warm to the touch where the tattoo is i mean its only day 2 of healing so its not unexpected just assuming this is normal its not painful or anything just warm is all

    My first tattoo was a small leaf on my shoulder, I thought it had healed really quickly so I started to lie on that side again, unfortunately I think I did that too early because it wasn't smooth to the rest of my skin and some areas have become blurred because of my mistakes. It's a small tat but I'm wondering if there's any way to fix the blurred bits? Or shall I just expose it to lots of sun and hope it fades quicker? Cheers x

    So i got a tattoo one week ago. I used creams everyday, it didn't peel and it didn't feel itchy at all. I'm happy i took good care of it and I'll continue using creams 2-3 more weeks. It still feels "over the skin" ,like it's not all at the same height, so i know it's not healed.

      Upon recommendation from a few people I used ombrelle complete spf lotion on tattoos that were 1 week old. They said they used it from day 1 with no issues.
      I’ve since used it on a few tattoos and they’ve all healed excellently.

    I got my first tattoo 3 weeks ago on the inside of my arm, and it scabbed on all the places where the tattoo artist had added more shadow and layered more/denser colours. The advice i got was to wash it with very mild soap 2-3 times a day and add ordinary lotion. Not sure how i can prevent it from scabbing the next time. Getting my tattoo finished next week...any helpful tips appreciated

      Try going to a shop that covers your tattoo with second skin. Both of my first tattoos (forearm tattoos) scabbed when the artists covered it with gauze and paper towels, having me wash it at home. But this new artist, I've seen him twice to work on a much bigger leg piece going down my thigh. He covered it with second skin both times, leave it on for 48 to 72 hours, and then make sure to wash it with antibacterial soap and use fragrance free lotion. I didn't get any scabbing. It did peel like a sunburn, but I'm pretty sure that's normal

    • @SatansLilith
      @SatansLilith 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Got my second tattoo yesterday and as with my first I got this film on it too. You dont really have to take care of it till you take it off - preferably in the shower I was told. Your tattoo will "close" under that nicely and after you take it off I'd say during next week its gonna get scabs. As your tattoo artist told you .. All you have to do is to wash and moisturise.

    The comment about scabbing is interesting. I’ve been getting tattoos forever and I always scab and I follow healing instructions to a T. I’ve never had ink fall out because I don’t scratch it but still. Only time I’ve avoided scabbing is when I covered my tattoo with second skin for the first 3 days.
