this is very sensible advice. I'm getting my first freckle mapping visit next tuesday, and definitely it's better to keep them visible so that the dermatologist can easily evaluate them.

Great idea! I’m a cancer survivor of stage II malignant melanoma, got it at a very young age and keep having boughts of it. Going to have my dermatologist remove a small freckle on my arm before I get my sleeve.
Great advice!!! I unfortunately have moles here there and everywhere. Most of my them I've had pretty much my entire life, so I mainly am concerned about the newer ones.
So birthmarks are okay? You could tattoo over it if you’ve always had it right?
I'm interested in knowing if it can be tattooed with skin color ink only on the spot to make the freckle or mark less visible, like permanent makeup.. any idea?
I just had my 2nd tattoo on my left forearm and was wondering that why my artist didn't cover one mole that I have on that area, so this makes sense.
I friend once threatened (jokingly) that he would in ink join all my miles to see what pattern they made! I think possibly my back is too covered in miles for a clear tattoo! But the joining together of them seems like a cool freaky thing to do!

Hey Linda, thank you for all these videos, they're incredibly helpful. What do you think about tattooing on top of small varicose veins? They're genetic in my family and im already getting them at 22. They dont potrude like really bad varicose veins and are quite small now, but i know they will get bigger and spread, especially when i get pregnant. I hate them and want to get them covered up with a tattoo, but i wanted to to know your opinion if its safe or smart or not to tattoo over them?
And what about strech marks? Can you tatoo on them if the are white?

I did a little I had no problem
Iv got birthmark mole dark coloured on the side of my bum and when I go on holiday I want a skin coloured tattoo to cover it would it cause me any problems Iv been super insecure of it my whole life
make it part of a design instead of "covering" it...
