Imagine pulling ur pole up and feeling a 200 pound fish on the end! Man I live in Illinois the biggest fish I've caught was a grass carp like 30 pounds and was such a adrenaline rush!

Off Garda is the Mincio river....i've seen the remains of a big catfish on the path adjacent to the river...so yes they are there.

Mekong is on record for being the biggest. The largest Mekong landed on rod and reel was 646 pounds. The biggest Wels caught was around 300 pounds.

Come to Lake Skadarsko,i think you wont regret, got some monster some kinda its big and even the military helicopter was tracking it all the way to albanian border. But there is nobody interested in finding it and film it. There is some bad pictures and good stories. But it exist.. Also the myth of monster circle around for a long long time.

Its fins are pointy. Some catfish have small amounts of venom that can irritate you a bit... Its whiskers are for feeling around and won't sting you.
