If that is on your bed & your not next to a sharp weapon to use, that's bad. You would have to bounce your sheet,& bounce it off, pick up your pet in nick of time & run for a weapon.regardless of those sticky feet. That spider is a serious problem for pet & human parent. 😱😱🤯🤯
That's insane how close this spider can sneak behind the cricket! A tarantula or huntsman would have pounced a while ago from a distance. Nice assassin style kill!!
The way the spider moves in for the kill is one of the most freakish things I've ever seen. I would hate to be that cricket as the spider is literally breathing down its neck.
They're incredibly hard to see in the jungle, but if you know where and how to look for them, they're literally everywhere. They just keep to themselves as you pass by. If people knew how many spiders were in one cubic meter of jungle, they'd probably never go back xD
Such an interesting and fascinating video. A spider know to be very fast and aggressive when defensive, is actually slow and stealthy when attacking. The precision in which she executes her attack is breathtaking
The way the spider glided from side to side like it was some spectre floating was the stuff of nightmares! The BWS was just showing off for the cameras though 😂😂😂😂😂 they are so quick it didn’t need to sneak up on it, she could have charged it and the cricket wouldn’t have been quick enough to escape. Well done spider, impressive shit! ❤️🕷❤️🕷❤️🕷❤️🕷❤️🕷
I love how they actually creep up and slowly pounce on their pray like how it was shown on monster bug wars (without the dramatic audio). I thought it would be a "blink and you miss it" affair.
No they usualy hunt like this. They even know when the prey is facing towards them or away. They only move when it's facing away. They are incredible smart hunters
Yo Alejandro 90 percent of the time ale there's a video in fact that shows the Brazilian wandering spider defeating that wasp on you tube take care now ali
Dude, I didn't even see the spider until it moved, it was so well blended in with the background. The way it moves slowly is soooo creepy!! I love spiders generally but this one....not so much
This is why spiders are the most scary and nightmarish creatures in the arachnid world...aside from setting traps most of them are active killers like larger predators such as lions...sneaking up on their prey slowly only to strike at the right moment. No other creature that size or in the insect world does behave like this thing (aside from those bugs who prey upon other bugs, but they move differently and less creepier)
Absolutely nightmarish! This critter arouses my deepest disgust, but also some kind of respect for the perfection of it's wicked hunting technique. It only moved, when the cricket was facing away from it. And those smooth and sneaky moves - uuuggghhh! 🤣
the camo is insane also I've never seen a spider move like that. It's almost like a cat. I was like "showoff" when it was sneaking until it got right behind the cricket lmao
When the spider is near the ground, it lifts its front legs. This kind of hunter spiders do have 3D sense! I appreciate their slow and elegant movements. Be patient, cautiously go forward, and get rewards. That's what you can learn from the spider.
This spider is a master of camouflage, has a majestic walking when hunting, has the best vision of spiders kingdom and can jump 40 centimeters aproximately, It is not necessary to talk about its deadliest venon, the Phoneutria Fera is definitely the King of Spiders and I hope never encounter none of them in my life!
@@gabrielmartines3510 Unfortunately, there are no known studies of P. fera venom, only a little bit of P. boliviensis, reidyi, keyserlingi, pertyi and a lot of P. nigriventer.
This is both incredible and absolutely terrifying.

This is the only spider I’m aware of that hunts like this. Slow stealthy stalking. Very cool
Just like it's cousin, the Black Jungle Stalker.

Right. And... wrong. Did you know spiders do not breath with mouth? But with 2 holes under the abdomen :)
When the cricket looks in the direction of the Wandering spider and it doesn’t move an inch, gave me chills. Incredible footage
The camouflage on that spider is incredible
It really is mind blowing !

The most spiders here in Brazil have a amazing camouflage, linda scary not gonna lie
Imagine being stalked so perfectly; its RIGHT behind you, and you never felt, heard or saw it. Yikes!
Dude was on top of him, legs just outside of his vision and around him on all sides
Pretty terrifying haha

I got six of these spiders being shipped my way. I really can’t wait. This setup is how I want to do. Look how well it compliments the spider.
Hey Eric! I have just uploaded an enclosure tour for a better view. Any questions regarding husbandry for this species give me a message 👍
Eric Rosales you want six most deadliest spiders? Oh wow you got big balls

Kankra and Frodo.

The Brazilian wandering spider that's my buddy the only spider that comes close is the Sydney funnel-web spider both of them are extremely dangerous

Spider wasps would have a field day with any of those spiders lol

One of the coolest things I’ve seen a spider do
Incrível a paciência e agilidade da aranha armadeira Brasileira 😮
The fact that his guy is watching one of the dangerous spiders on the planet and being so brave is so amazing, or did I just see some mirroring?
The spider is like “Bro if you scare away this cricket I’m gonna be so pissed.”
Pro tip:
Don’t watch this if you want to go to sleep. Lol
Creepy as F**K! Awesome footage!
Spider movement is terrifying!
It’s like it knows when the cricket is looking at it so it stays still.
Remember that cricket can jump far away from the spydie in a split of a second, so this slow way of hunting is incredibly intelligent.
Yeah absolutely
Pretty sure cricket had antennas severed
The stealth of the spider is truly frightening what a way to go good job they aren't as big as cars humans would be top of the food chain.
Very awesome. Spiders are so interesting and have so many incredible species.
Amazing species with even more amazing hunting instinct! Nice job filming the perfect catch! Thank you for posting this!
Thanks very much for watching 🙂

Brilliant Video. Nice 1
This was way better than National Geographic!
Amazing. I honestly didn't notice the spider until it started moving.
Creepy - the glinting eyes in the light, the stealthy way it moves, the legs....yep everything I hate!! 😱
Cricket: All this good dirt and things all to myself. I'm surprised this place isn't packed
Spider: 👻🕷
Reminds me of a Giant Frost Spider from Skyrim.
Spider seems to enjoy the lurk as much as the meal.
that was awesome, that cricket was absolutely oblivious until the spider was right on it......truly awesome
what a beautiful specimen, I wish I could own one but unfortunately my balls aren't made of steel
Cricket like honey is that you behind me ?
Spider like surprise
I keep looking at my walls thinking “there HAS” to be one here. This is terrifying to watch so methodical I feel I’m being hunted now haha
The way it slowly stalked the cricket then pounced once he's back was turned is really creepy 😂

How does the cricket not see this big ass piece of wall moving? 🕷
2:50 cricket you are doomed DOOMED
3:00 funneral march kicks in
Now that's a ninja .. he made sure cricket never saw him move
You know a spider species is a nutjob when they hunt like this.
Holy shit this spider is so stealthy! It's prey doesn't realize what hit them even when the BWS is right on top of it!
That moves od the spider are the most wonderfull and the most horrible thnig ive ever seen
Smart spider staying away from the mandibles
Incredible the spider knew to attack once it had been touched my the crickets feelers.
They can be so slow yet so fast :0 amazing spider
Wow, she just encased it in her legs before attacking, amazing 😮
Isn't this spider the deadliest in the world? Saw so.eqhere that it was...
Amazing how the spider was standing almost right on top of the cricket without the cricket ever knowing.
Absolutely nightmarish!
This critter arouses my deepest disgust, but also some kind of respect for the perfection of it's wicked hunting technique. It only moved, when the cricket was facing away from it. And those smooth and sneaky moves - uuuggghhh! 🤣
That is the most blind cricket on the planet. It even had light and couldn’t see that huge spider!

I kept a wandering spider , of the Ctenus genus as a pet . It hunted in the same way. Slow deliberate stalking .
The worst thing about it, is the fact that it just looks like a normal spider. No black body with distinct markings like a black widow.
either that was a very small wandering spider, or that grasshopper was gigantic!
Imagine living in a world where insects are far bigger and larger than humans.
😳
I felt like I was watching Frodo get attacked by the big spider.
