Working as a crew member of Coyote: Sounds fun! I get to film beautiful animals like lions, tigers, badgers etc.! It's a dream come true! Reality: Searching for dangerous spiders in the dark.
GermanGamer7 YOU WANNA KNOW WHY I SCARED TO DEATH OF THEM? Because they’re unnatural. They’re scary. They’re creepy. They’re dangerous. No living creature should have more than four legs and more than two eyes. I can’t kill them cuz I’m scared they’re gonna jump up and kill me. I can’t step on them cuz I’m afraid they’re gonna climb up my shoe. I have nightmares about spiders. Did that answer your question??
"let's go back to the research hut, the safest place we can be in right now" you mean the one that has other spiders and scorpions all over it? that one?
I was never scared of spiders, I used to pick up any spider when I was little. Took a trip to Canada with my dad in the spring time and our cabin was infested with giant wolf spiders. I woke up one morning to one that was inches away from my face I stayed calm tried waking my dad up but the spider dropped down onto my head and I freaked out, now I'm scared shitless of spiders
I live in calgary canada and yeah nothing like the ones in the video but some summers you get infestations bad of garden, orb weavers, violin or wolf spiders, jumping spiders, and black widows. Black widows are sketchy, I've heard that brown recluse exist up here but I have no idea if that's true
Every time I blinked I would scream and jump in a tree and realize there just as many bad things in the trees as there are on the ground so I would run into a plane and die YAY!
During WWII my dad was a gunner on a Navy PBY plane. They had a scramble in the early morning and he, this one time, failed to shake out his boots. He felt something jab the bottom of his foot as he jammed his boot on and stomped it on the floor. He became sick and after the scramble he took his boot off and discovered the wandering spider, dead. They took him to the field hospital and the doctors wanted to amputate his leg as the venom was spreading making his leg skin taut. My dad refused. They had him laying outside (no room inside), with a tent over his leg and basically a sunbathing lamp inside with the leg. The doctors made an incision and inserted a tube to drain off the poison. The doctors didn't give him any good odds of pulling through, but he did.
I would just die straight away. It wouldn’t even need to bite, I’d just be like “no need fam, I got you.” And my soul would be forceable ejected from my body.
That cabin looks like something from my nightmares. Covered in spiders. Only thing that could make it worse is if there was a room filled with porcelain dolls.
LMAO! My house is full of porcelain dolls and spiders 😅 The dolls are intentional; the spiders are Mother Nature's way of telling me I shouldn't be living in the forest with aracnaphobia...
As a Swede with no knowledge of those surroundings (there a relatively small, and non venemous animals here), I would be dead within 15 min walking around there!
Actually there is one venomous animal in Sweden, and it's common to all European countries - the common European adder, Vipera berus. It's called huggorm in Swedish. 🇸🇪 I've seen one in the country where I live in - Poland. It was super close to me but I fortunately didn't get bitten. By the way, Sweden is a really, really beautiful country! I've visited it few months ago and I'm planning to visit it once more.
"Yo man, I'm telling you Dave. My leave house was all shaking, and then this blinding light comes, and then I run out of my house and lands in this clear thing. And then I jump out and try to run. An then this big ol' shadowy thing puts the clear thing over me and then I couldn't go nowhere. And then..and then..." "Sure, Bob. Sure."
I dont know what the mistake is but either the spider you caught is not a wandering spider (cupiennius coccineus is part of the trechaleidae family whose bites are realtively harmless (comparable to a bee sting)) or you misclassified the spider and it should have been one of the phoneutria species (which are actually one of the most dangerous in the world). Edit: Ok, after seeing the red marks im sure you confused ctenidae (actual wandering spiders, including brazilian wandering spider (phoneutria)) with trechaleidae. This definitly is not a wandering spider and also definitly not one of the phoneutria species.
About that time a few years ago the data on how to visually distinguish Phoneutria from its distant relatives was dire, with most detail restricted to the scientific literature. However, if a film team aim to spend a bunch of money and effort to present something, it’s sad they did not research it better. At the time there were already some excellent papers by Dr Barth and his team on distigishing these various spiders, even some with multiple colour photos. However my point is in the years since, myself and others have strived to get the open online information on such spiders clarified to avoid such mistakes.
Spider: *"Don't put me in there."* Coyote: *"put the leaf in there"* Camera Man: "Is he in there?" Coyote: *"OH NO, NO HE'S NOT"* Spider: *"I TOLD YOU"*
The Legend Of Jacko that's me too when I was about five but now I love spiders!!!!!!!! I have held a very deadly spider once before and my mom was like " HELP ME IM GOING TO DIE JUST SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!!!!!"
Go play movie battles 2 an old mod for the jedi knight jedi academy game. Not to many play it but the community is more toxic than any animal in Australia.
I was hoping you would feature the wandering spider! My husband is from Brasil. He was sitting on his bench having a cig and looked down and there was a massive wandering doing its warning dance right in front of his feet. These things are no joke. My hubby's instinct kicked in and he did a matrix like jump to get away from it! Lol.
This wandering spider is Cupiennius coccineus, a different genus than the dangerous Phoneutria/Brazilian wandering spiders. Unlike Phoneutria, bites are actually mild and not considered medically significant.
I love how he spends the whole video talking about how insanely dangerous it is, but doesn't go into any detail other than "It's venomous, fast, and sometimes hides in shoes." I'll take you at your word but that doesn't seem too distinctive
Harold Petiluna Actually the Brazilian Wandering Spider is much more feared than the Huntsman spider due to its super toxic venom to human and aggressive nature. The Huntsman Spider may be bigger but should not be feared as much because its venom is basically not venomous to humans. A bite from it me cause some pain but it will not cause anymore harm than that. With that being said, when i face these spiders in real life I just simply run away lol
I have a pet tiger wandering spider (Cupiennius salei) They're venomous too, but the venom isn't medically significant. They actually make really great pets, very fun to watch them hunt and do their thing. They're just as fast as these guys, and I've definitely had her bolt up my arm before haha. Luckily, in the case of her brazilian cousins, there is antivenom readily available. Their little faces are very cute, I love this species.
This is arguably the most dangerous spider in the world. It's fast, aggressive, and has extremely potent venom that antivenin isn't 100% effective against. These guys are no joke.
“I feel like we’re close” Me (looks up from phone towards an Imaginary camera): “I guess you could say that his spider senses were tingling” *weak applause*
I'm pretty sure that spider wasn't actually a real Brazilian wandering spider. She was a red thighed bromeliad spider, which is related to the Brazilian wandering spider but not nearly as venomous.
That's more likely Cupiennius than Phoneutria (The infamous "Brazilian wandering spider" genus). The bright red underside of the legs is characteristic of C. coccineus and the markings are a perfect match as well. And Cupiennius can grow almost as big as Phoneutria. Not taking away from Coyote though, the two genera look VERY similar.
Regards the Phoneutria spiders, is this true? "The dangers associated with these spiders for North Americans are very much overexaggerated. First, the most cited dangerous species is Phoneutria fera. This is actually an Amazonian species, (i.e., it lives in the Brazilian Amazon) far from areas of human commerce and the Brazilian banana plantations and, therefore, they don’t have the opportunity to be transported in cargo, or at least are highly unlikely to be so moved. In Germany from decades ago, specimens listed as imported P. fera were most likely misidentified specimens of other Phoneutria species. (One must also keep in mind that Phoneutria taxonomy has been a nightmare for the last century with new species being named and other names being absorbed by other existing species, back and forth almost like an Abbott and Costello comedy routine. It is really difficult sometimes to pin down a name because for some spider groups, the taxonomy is not yet settled). The spiders intercepted in Germany were most likely specimens of P. nigriventer and P. keyserlingi, which are only found on the Atlantic coast of Brazil and are mostly involved in Brazilian envenomations. All three of these spiders can get up to 50 mm in body length. However, they still are not nearly as deadly as people claim. In one study of 422 Phoneutria bites in coastal Brazil, only 2.3% of the victims required antivenom and the only death was one small child. Although there is an obvious major concern when children are bitten, most bite victims experienced minor problems without long-lasting effects and certainly not death. Most of the bites were in adults; minor symptoms resolved without complications."
@Parl Kilkington Parl Kilkington Yes, he probably realized this after editing. However, if you look at the way he reacted, he probably thought it was Phoneutria, as those are very deadly, while Cupiennus are no more dangerous than a bee.
I thought it was a flame bellied orb weaver, they have those distinct red markings on the bottom of their legs and have webs, while I believed the wandering spiders were usually slightly more muted in colour. Can you clear this up for me and tell me if I'm wrong? I'd be grateful
I lived in Costa Rica. My first morning in Playa Chiquita, I had the same species of scorpion in my kitchen sink! Another time, I picked up a cup and found a fuzzy big colorful spider inside. I couldn’t describe it in detail because I sent the cup flying out the door while I was shrieking!

And then your shoes next time you're putting them on
Bro wtf I can't stop touching my head and my back
F1ve Alarm yes I was looking in my room my mom asked what i am doing and I told her
I was hoping you would feature the wandering spider! My husband is from Brasil. He was sitting on his bench having a cig and looked down and there was a massive wandering doing its warning dance right in front of his feet. These things are no joke. My hubby's instinct kicked in and he did a matrix like jump to get away from it!
Lol.
*wandering* spider
Lol your not married you 9 year old
"Husband" as this so called adult female can't even use proper grammar or spelling... Nice try.
Who has a Xbox Gamerpic as their profile picture?
BananaDark719 umm
This wandering spider is Cupiennius coccineus, a different genus than the dangerous Phoneutria/Brazilian wandering spiders. Unlike Phoneutria, bites are actually mild and not considered medically significant.
The Hoax Hotel mkk
The Hoax Hotel HI IM A BIG FAN!!!
Indeed. Coyote: come to Panama to find the Phoneutria boliviensis.
The Hoax Hotel why aren't you trolling scammers
8:46 it’s written cupiennius coccineus
I love how he spends the whole video talking about how insanely dangerous it is, but doesn't go into any detail other than "It's venomous, fast, and sometimes hides in shoes." I'll take you at your word but that doesn't seem too distinctive
that’s so cool that you got jake Paul to collab with you at 1:20 !!

Bright colors are usually a sign of toxicity or danger in nature.
Mind blown
Snake, scorpion, giant spider.. I can't imagine any place that more nightmare than that place..

Wahhht
that thing is NOT itsy bitsy
naaaaa its small man compared to the hunter spider in austrailia, thats a much much better nope
Trying to catch the most dangerous spider in the rain forest

@@peter2kx I was just gonna say that 😂😂
what about xenomorphs?
Zealot OH MY GOD LMAAAAO
This is arguably the most dangerous spider in the world. It's fast, aggressive, and has extremely potent venom that antivenin isn't 100% effective against. These guys are no joke.
I'm glad I live in a northern state. I'll just admire these creatures from a video.

why would anyone go visit a rainforest, they're the capital of venomous and dangerous animals
I say give them more land so it’s less likely to find one in our house
I hope the loggers get bit by something

Alexander Fetters This is what I'mdoing right now. Wish me luck.
Baron Lux Same 😂😂😂
All the spiders gives me chills even smalls
I'm pretty sure that spider wasn't actually a real Brazilian wandering spider. She was a red thighed bromeliad spider, which is related to the Brazilian wandering spider but not nearly as venomous.

Ah yes .
The floor here is made out of floor .
Because it is wandering, duh.
Good observation and knowlwdge men
Regards the Phoneutria spiders, is this true?
The featured spider was indeed Cupiennius coccineus.
When you said fizzy I shrieked and sent my tablet out the window!
Susan Norman more reasons as to why I really want to go to Costa Rica but am also scared shitless of it...
