At Guam, you can catch regular crabs in the ocean, they're everywhere. We live at Oregon coast, lots of crabs, no body eat them. A shelves fish license costs $8.00 a year allow you to go crabbing all year long.

I know they're called crabs but it looks like they have a tail that curls up under them like a lobster does

Unfortunately because of Colonization and Americanization, the Chamorro language is all but dead and white man english has completely taken over.

GUAM and Puerto Rico are occupied by United State at the same time. I wonder Guam is most fluent of english and majority of the people speak english. And Puerto Rico is not.

I always ask that. GU & PR have the same story at the same time. But while PR managed to keep their Espanol, Guam lost their Chamorro and completely got overtaken by the white man English. Population may be a factor since PR has a population in the millions while the people of GU number from 100,000-200,000.

Those are aggressive creatures. But they're good to eat once you cook them.
