  • Kim Eng - Shaking Practice
    Kim Eng presents a short video practice on how to awaken and invigorate your qi through the Shaking Practice.
    On Resist Nothing, Eckhart and his teaching partner Kim Eng present essential wisdom and practices for dissolving the pain-body. Beginning with a 30-minute exploration by Eckhart into the nature of the pain-body, you will then learn five of Kim's most effective guided meditations and on-the-spot practices for clearing blockages, releasing unhealthy attachments, and becoming fully present in any situation.
    Sounds True was founded in 1985 by Tami Simon with a clear mission: to disseminate spiritual wisdom. Since starting out as a project with one woman and her tape recorder, we have grown into a multimedia publishing company with more than 80 employees, a library of more than 1500 titles featuring some of the leading teachers and visionaries of our time, and an ever-expanding family of customers from across the world. In more than three decades of growth, change, and evolution, Sounds True has maintained its focus on its overriding purpose, as summed up in our Mission Statement.

    About Kim Eng
    Kim Eng is a counselor and spiritual teacher whose “Presence Through Movement” workshops focus on the integration of mind, body, and spirit. As Eckhart Tolle’s teaching partner, she has helped translate his ideas into a structured practice.
    About Eckhart Tolle
    Spiritual teacher and author Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of twenty-nine, a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. The next few years were devoted to understanding, integrating, and deepening that transformation, which marked the beginning of an intense inward journey. Eckhart’s profound yet simple teachings have already helped countless people throughout the world find inner peace and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of the teachings lies the transformation of consciousness, a spiritual awakening that he sees as the next step in human evolution. An essential aspect of this awakening includes transcending our ego-based state of consciousness. This is a prerequisite not only for personal happiness but also for the ending of violent conflict endemic on our planet.

    I practice Chi gong and my teacher calls this "spontaneous chi gong" and its my favorite! Animals shake off traumas and so can we!

    • @mariej5319
      @mariej5319 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Except this isn’t spontaneous at all. David Berceli’s TRE method induces spontaneous tremors (or reactivates the primal response) although I’m not totally convinced about it’s therapeutic benefit. There’s also spontaneous kriyas that occur when there’s some activation or stirring of kundalini.

      I have just tried it and I must say I did feel strange and off balance (I always feel like that) but it eased my chronic anxiety just a little. Did you find that you had to do it for a while to get some relief? I would love to hear your experience of this technique. Thank you 🙏

    Such a short exercise but it's effective. After the exercise, my eyes began to feel bitter and tears came out...basically it does something to the body that it released serotonin through tears and released your tensions and feel relaxed.
