Edmonton does have great people. I lived in Yellowknife and had to stay overnight on my way back, when I was a young thing. Well, it was a late arrival in the previous night, and for the first and only time in my life, I overslept and missed my homeward flight. I had to turn back from the airport, reschedule, and go right back to the same hotel. Told them I missed my flight. And the WAITRESS in the hotel coffee room heard, and offered to pay my stay if I didn't have the money! I was none too flush, first job, but I had it, so I was okay. I thanked her, and never forgot her. What a kind, caring person. Everyone was kind. Thumbs up to Edmonton.
Hockey is pretty much the lifeblood of this city hell we watched game six last night where we took the series and its ingrained so much so that when we were in a 10 year playoff drought you can feel the misery of everyone here when you first arrive. Now you can feel the excitement of Edmonton now that we're in the playoffs
The bison burger sounded quite appetizing until.... did I hear that right? Maple syrup on a burger? I love maple syrup but I'm not sure about putting it on my burger.
sparkimoto infused meaning it's mixed into the ground bison( and I would imagine seasonings) buffalo is leaner than chicken breast also has a bit of a gamey flavour. The a little bit of sweet from fruit or maple helps calm the gamey flavour and accent the flavour. It's common and very traditional. Indigenous people often mixed berries in with their Bison commonly saskatoon berries because of the acidity. Much the way a hunter will marinade game in orange juice or vinegar to help cut gamey flavour.
T H you guys put maple syrup, honey and sugar into and onto everything... personally i love that taste of a game animal, marinate it just olive oil, mustard and some seasonings... canadians are sugar addicts, im surprised she didnt say "and then we dip the burger into tim hortons"
Ughhhh.... Edmonton is a pothole. I'm still surprised that the Federal government doesn't pay us to live here. A City where global warming is considered a good thing...hell, even I agree with that idea.

Hello miss. Great information. Thanks
Right now the economy is killing people in Alberta. Rent and housing is dirt cheap only if people can find work there.
Hand crafted shoes - there’s no way that’s going to be cheap.
great city***
Where can I watch the Edmonton Olliers Hockey team at?
