I decided to give my friends a lift home from the pub in my mothers car and wrote it off on the way. It looked manic out on track I was shocked you only had the 1 bump, even though James is the best drifter in the world he's the most humble and chilled there is. The abuse he gives that car is mental so I don't think he's bothered about a few bumps. The more drift days the better especially with 1 to 1 tutoring from "The Machine". Keep killing it.👌

Tell me you've never been involved in motorsport without telling me you've never been involved in motorsport. James Deane the man himself has even told you so pipe down. If my girlfriend did that to my car on track I wouldn't moan I'd just fix it and make her feel better cause its a shared passion. I had something similar happen to me in my dad's car just fixed it and drove the rest of the day no harm done. There's going to be crashes its a close proximity motorsport
On a good note, you can tell from watching the video before the crash that your drifting skills are improving, especially in a car you're not familiar with👌

Hmm... what would an avoidance manoeuvre for that have even looked like? I can see how you might have stuffed a corner into him as you failed to drive round him, or maybe slid into him sideways, but was there even a way of not hitting him if there wasn't space to full stop in a straight line, one you realised he had finished spinning & wasn't going to head off the same way you decided to swerve?
I tried to save the steering by straightening, I was always told if you can straighten your wheels up when you are going to crash so that you don't bend any of the steering components or break a wheel off - but I wish I had got on the handbrake again, it just happened so quickly 😂
@@BeckyEvans Yeah, if you'd snowloughed into him corner first with all 4 wheels locked & a load of steering lock on you'd have f*cked the car up good & proper, I reckon. It really doesn't look like there was time once you'd got the steering straight... Also, good luck getting the lock off with one hand while pulling the handbrake with the other! You'd need one of those autotest steering wheel rim balls...
