Anthony Le I still kind of felt it was a cop out. Due to Abraham's death being overdue, and Glenn being the one to die in the comics. Due to how they made it seem that it could be anyone, I expected it to be a character that would catch me off guard. But that's just me.

Brian. Jr Montoya I think they knew Glenn would not catch anyone off guard so they went for Abraham to make you think that was it and then killed Glenn out of nowhere, that caught ME of guard maybe not you.
I literally feel like my heart was broken over this episode tonight.... I've always been one to get emotional over characters deaths, but usually I can handle them. I cried when Abe died, but then when Glenn was getting hit too... I almost turned the channel because it was way too much for me. Like I understand, it's a fictional character, but after going through so much with the character and seeing then just watching them being brutally murdered in front of the people they love and call family... it hurt so much...
These deaths were absolutely brutal and hurt so much when they killed Glenn. I hate TWD for doing this. lol
EDJR0 Me too! When they brought out Kirkman and Gimple onto the Talking Dead, I want to throw them off the stage. Like I get it's their job, but omg they brutally murdered my heart. That can't be legal.
I honestly don't know how to feel about it either, like I can't see kids who are fans watching something like that, it's just soo brutal.
***** I'm surprised how far they can go with the gore. That's what made it so bad is just seeing them brutally murdered! Glenn was my favorite character off the show and just seeing his head just splattered all over the ground, I damn near changed the channel because of it.

Almost lost it when Daryl punched Negan. Thought Negan was gonna bash his brains in instead of Glen. Glad they stuck with the comics & took Glen instead of Daryl. Still sucks that Abe & Glen are gone.....that shit was disturbing.

Daryl can get 50 paper cuts on his throat and jump in a pool of bleach and lemon juice just keep Glen alive I am done watching this piece of crap of a television show and stick with Fear the Walking Dead.

Glenn's death was too much for me to watch. It was gross and the state he was in was too much for me to handle and I just about got up and walked out of the room because of it. I cried because I felt for Maggie having to watch her husband die. I felt so sick to my stomach after watching that and I'm still shaking from it. I feel horrible!

It was honestly some of the hardest deaths I've had to watch on a tv show.I knew it was coming but just seeing it myself made me upset.
My reaction was identical to yours. I did a lot if smh and looking down when it got to be too much. When Daryl went for negan I said oh maaaan. To me this was overwhelming the fact that glen told Maggie he'd find her was gut wrenching. I couldn't really speak.

Mine was oppisite, which is really funny cause I knew Abe would die, but it still struck me like lightning when I actually saw Negan Physically baeting the Crap out of Abraham w/ Lucile.
I was fine when abraham died cause he was a really nice guy and he's also one of my favorite character but atleast negan finished him immediately not like glenn glenn suffered emotionaly and physically cause negan waited for i thim 45 secs to 2 mibutes before he finished up glenn

I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead and have been since the beginning. I cried when Abraham got it, I was intense when Daryl did what he did but nothing happened and I bawled my eye's out when Glenn got it, so very sad!!

I love how no words were needed in your reaction, but I still felt your emotions.
I'm more upset that Abraham died. We had a hero that started to finally believe he could lead a normal life. He started getting excited at the possibility of a "happily ever after." There was still much more to learn about Abraham. Not to mention he was one of the few badasses the group had left.
I feel like Glenn's character progressed beyond anything we thought possible.
It tore me up seeing Glenn's death but as you said, I felt like his character was dying down anyway. He became too soft and the writers made him too involved (morally) after years of checking zombie heads, the whole crew for that matter. If the writers wanted to devastate the audience, killing Carl, Darryl or a surprise snatch and grab of Carol would've made a crucial mark.

well even if ANYBODY would have tried to help them Negan would have killed them all with Lucile.... That's the PROBLEM, you could see that Rick WANTED to do something about it, BUT he knew *Finally when it clicked for him* that *#NeganIsInCharge* Now & whatever Negan says, They have to submitt (if you will) by his Orders. Rick knows that he is helpless now, that's WHY he wanted to stop Maggie from going and getting an Army because he KNOWS that Negan will kill w/ Lucile again & from what they saw they KNOW it's not pretty & Negan wants Rick to feel "Powerless" under his wrath & that's *EXACTLY* how Negan forced Rick to thiink (that way) so Now Rick *Ofc w/ the good help of the Negan Intimidation* Rick is NOW powerless & under (Negan's Control if you will)
Negan will get whats coming to him, don't worry. Not now, not next week, but he will.

Well if that didn't bother you in the least then you need help. Im not sure that this scene sits well with normal people.
It doesn't bother me, & I'm a fan of watching ALOT of gore & playing alot of bloody violent games. & I take counseling (For basically negative things that I endured while in Highschool in Taylor Ne). Anywho & I am NOT a psyhcopath or a serial killer or non of that. & One of my favorite generes of movies & tv shows to watch, consists of Gore, Blood, Nudity, & Violence (I tend to ignore the Nudity pretty much in most horror movies).

unlike in the comics where his cowardly ass has been kept alive in a cell bull shit; not if the other characters in the group (besides Maggie who we know loves her man), really cared about Glenn and Abraham.

After Abe got the bat, I legit thought for a moment that Glenn would be ok and then Daryl had to go and punch Negan and you knew there would have to be retribution and when Daryl wasn't killed that's when my heart sank and knew Glenn would probably get it. ;((
Only Rick, Carl, Daryl and Carol left from the original season 1 cast now. Morgan too although he was absent for the longest time. Really wanted to see them all make it to the end but damn. :(

Yeah I screamed when it hit Glenn, and then I was just shocked. I finally cried at the Sunday dinner scene. We already suspected Glenn and Abe but you can never really prepare for it you know. Such a great episode though, all the actors did a hell of a job.

I kind of agree with JDM...Rick's group got off pretty easily...they lost 2 people yes, but they killed like 20+ of Negan's men...If that happened in Alexandria, you know that Rick would have done the same and killed the Saviors for it and made a example out of them too...but still, 2 people compared to 20+....

DASamX5453 Actually, Rick wouldn't have done that. That's not his way. That's the difference between him and Negan, and what makes Negan a villian. Negan's a power hungry terrorist, who feeds off of what the world has become; he'll kill to get what he wants and do it with a smile. Rick's just a survivor, who hopes that the apocalyptic world he's currently living in will one day change. Rick would have retaliated, yes, but he wouldn't have terrorized Negan's men, he would've just took them out.

That was one of the single most brutal basic cable tv show I've ever seen. I thought they did a great job but I'm so sad to see Abraham and Glenn go. Also, to those saying there happy Glenn died instead of Daryl, I'll just say that yeah I am too but not for the same reason, yeah Daryl is bad ass and all but honestly his character is far more expendable, I mean he is a loner and he is kinda disconnected from everyone in a way, yeah the group would be sad but he has no romantic partners and his brother is dead, as much as I loved Glenn as a character it made so much since because with him and Maggie and a baby on the way and all the times he has cheated death it makes his death so gut wrenching on the group and us the viewers. Abraham had finally found some piece and seemed ready to forgive himself and move on from the guilt and pain of being rejected by his wife and child and not being able to save them, he was even thinking of starting a new family. There deaths are just way more powerful than that of a lone wolf like Daryl.
