Thanks a million for watching and leaving me a excellent and humbling comment. I wish it were true but I'm not the best. Problem with being the best is there's only one way to go. Can't thank you enough for always being here and putting a smile on my face. It makes all the sleepless nights and endless effort 100% completely worthwhile. Sincerely couldn't do this without you. Thanks again. Tight lines & take care ;)

Thanks, Heath. I've never seen a fish cleaned this way. Interesting. Thanks for the content.

Thanks a million for watching and always being here I truly appreciate it. yeah I remember the first time I saw a kingfish clean like that I was skeptical but it works. And it keeps all the dark meat of the lateral line completely out of your food. But of course you do leave a little bit of me on there but these are the choices you have to make. Thanks again for your support of the channel. Sincerely. Tight lines & take care ;)

Great tips no rinse in fresh water and then bread meat to cool in fridge half hour. Then cook. Thanks buddy Ricky 💃🕺🏼💃🕺🏼🎶🐈‍⬛🎸🐊💥😎✌️

Hi Rick thanks a million for watching. Always great to hear from you and have you around to chat with me. I truly appreciate your support you couldn't get this done without you. As simple as the recipe may seem it is definitely well worth it. Unfortunately king fish has a bad reputation as being very oily which I completely disagree with. Hope everything is going well with you and your family. Thanks again for everything. Tight lines & take care ;)

Thanks a boat oad for stopping by and leaving some great feedback. I truly and sincerely appreciate it in your support for the channel. It is a pretty cool way to clean a fish. it's kind of tricky the first time you do it but then you get some muscle memory and it becomes like second nature. when you clean a fish like this everybody at the dock stops and watches you because they've never seen it done that way. Thanks again. Tight lines & take care ;)

Thanks a million for watching and always being here. That is a delicious way to prepare king mackerel. Most people think you have to smoke it and turn it into fish dip but I beg to differ. There's so many different recipes for kingfish. can't thank you enough for all your support to taking out time from your life to be here and chat with me. going to be switching things up for the next six months as the local boat ramp is shut down for renovations. Going to be doing some Florida keys fishing. I'm excited. Thanks again for everything sincerely. Tight lines & take care ;)

Thanks for watching and taking out time from your life to stop by and chat with me. Always a pleasure hearing from you. That Brian is a lifesaver it takes out the gamey flavor of any fish. Makes it so the kids can eat it. Thanks again for all your support I couldn't have gotten this far without you. Tight lines & take care ;)

Thanks a million for watching and leaving some great feedback. I truly appreciate it and your support for the channel. I obviously couldn't reach this milestone without you. Can't thank you enough for joining me on this journey and making it happen. my local boat ramp is closed for 6 months so I'm going to be switching things up doing stuff I normally don't do getting a little bit out of my comfort zone. Going to spice up the content a little bit. Thanks again for everything. Tight lines & take care ;)

Thanks a million for watching and always being here. I truly appreciate your support. If you give him a try you're going to love them. staking up the fish that way and pushing out that meet definitely gives you the most tender juicy parts how to fillet. Plus the little nuggets are already formed so that is 1 less than the process for you to do. Can't thank you enough for taking out time from your life to be here. Tight lines & take care ;)

Little late as usual but this time I have an excuse as my normally dependable internet service provider just died over the last 24 hours, and of course it was on the first day of my daughters college orientation (still online here due to Covid), but she's a trooper and got it figured out so that she didn't miss too much information.
Here in Indonesia we have a soup with meatballs made from either beef, chicken, pork or fish called Bakso. Anyone who's spent more than a week in Indonesia definitely has seen the bakso vendors food carts going up and down the road selling delicious bakso.
    Great episode as usual 👍

Thanks a million for getting around to me I really appreciate it. glad your daughter had a good start even though it's online she's pushing forward and making it happen. That soup sounds good something right up my alley I might have to look it up and give it a try. thanks again for always being here and keeping the conversation very interesting with me. Never a dull moment. my boat ramp is shut down for 6 months so I'm going to be switching things up here and doing things that I normally don't do. getting a little bit out of my comfort zone which will also spice up the channels content. Thanks again for everything you do I truly appreciate it. Tight lines & take care ;)

Really enjoyed the video. I've caught and eaten kings for years in Texas, never saw anyone getting the balls out that way, gonna have to try it, much easier than the way I've been doing it. Far as I'm concerned kingfish rank right up there with dolphin for eating

Hi Heath, That's a very interesting way to remove the white meat from a King Mackerel. Can you use that method on other species of fish ? Your brine and refrigerator resting seem to be very important steps. It looks like it tastes great and I'm sure it does. Say "Hi" to Avi, Bijoux and Bella for me. I will "talk" to you on Thursday. Hope you have a good week. Take care and have fun, Mickey

    • @SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing
      @SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi Mickey thanks for watching. I believe you could probably use this method to clean other fish. I just haven't tried it the kingfish is skin is not that strong so I believe it will work on other species. That Brian that I use is one of the most important things you can do to make your fish taste good. It takes out the gamey flavor. All the kids say "hi Mickey". we are preparing to go see my grandmother which is their great-grandmother for the first time in two years. Going to spend Thanksgiving with her. She lives in key largo, which is why I'm considering dropping my boat for the next 6 months wall my local ramp is closed. I'm going to be changing things up and doing things I don't normally do trying to spice up the content a little bit. thanks again for always being here and taking out time from your life. there's no way I could have come this far without you. Sincerely. Talk to you on Thursday. Tight lines & take care ;)

Hi Heath, Thank you for the compliments but your channel is good because you put in the time and hard work to make it good. It will be interesting to see you fish in the Keys. It's been 10 years since I was in the Keys. Great inshore and ocean fishing down there. Talk to you on Thursday. Good luck , Mickey

thank you tip from ne never let your fish hit fresh water bring 2 or 3 gallon jugs with you and fill them in clean offshore waters and use for processing for better flavor never let your fish meet fresh water

Thanks a million for watching leaving some great advice. Couldn't have said it better myself. I learned decades ago that fish turns into mush when you touch it with fresh water. yet I see people at the cleaning stations completely hosing their fillets off and throwing them in a bag to take them home. and then they look at me like I'm crazy when I throw bloody slimy fish scaly fillets into a bag and leave with it. Thanks again for sharing with me and always being here to chat with me. I really appreciate you taking time out of your life to be here. Couldn't do this without you. Tight lines & take care ;)
