    Thank you Honda engineers for making a simple filter change so difficult 👏 and the Haynes Manual recommends this be done every 30k miles or 2 years 😂.

      If you think these are difficult dont ever try to replace the filters on older Corolla and Camrys. The flare nut fittings on them were over tightening at the factory to the point that it seized the threads inside the filters. The fitting will turn extremely hard all the way out.

    Honda deemed this filter a “lifetime” item. Even the technicians at the dealer had trouble with these.

      I love Honda, but agree about some of the engine design as far as parts placement. Things that should be changed should be located without needing to get under the car and so that your arms and hands can fit there. I am also pissed about where the transmission fluid is supposed to go - not easy to find a funnel to get to that deep arrow or the tiny hole.

    • @wlew3499
      @wlew3499 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@genkiferal7178 Yeah, I think most folks just attach a a long rubber hose to the end of the funnel and shove the other end into the tiny hole, hope for the best.

    Pull the upper intake plenum. Have all kinds of room. Also in case you didn't already have it, you can search "94 accord fsm pdf" on google and the first hit is the full factory service manual. I own 2 of these 5th gen accords and I have no idea how you fit your hand and a fuel filter underneath the master cylinder lol

    I’m having problems tightening the filter at the bottom I tighten and tried starting the car and the fuel was leaking.
    Was it bc of the washer or the line wasn’t tighten enough ? Please help quickly

    • @tongo117
      @tongo117  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No washers underneath so if it's leaking there it's likely not tight enough.. If the leak is up top, did you install 2 new crush washers? If so, that may also not be tight enough..

    😮Hi dude i have 1996 accord 2.2 F22B2 engine my problem is fuel pump broken then i changed fuel pump (original DENSO) but This fault continues both before and after the fuel pump is replaced.Engine stalls when slowing down while driving and the pump works very loudly, it seems like it is having trouble working.What do you think could be the problem? I couldn't figure it out. Could it be the fuel filter? Or is it related to the electrical wiring of the fuel pump and float?

    • @LA_Commander
      @LA_Commander หลายเดือนก่อน

      Since you already replaced the fuel pump, I would recommend replacing the fuel filter and the fuel level sending unit. Those three items work together in series.

  • @ZacVaper
    @ZacVaper 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why would anyone put the same filter back on...if I'm ever able to remove mine, I'm gonna install an in-line Wix.
    UPDATE: I used a 3 ft beaker bar with a crows foot and got the fuel filter off. It was a bitch but I was able to slide a 3/8 hose over the fuel line and got a clamp on it. I then installed an in-line filter. I did replace the hose from the fuel rail with a banjo bolt / hose bib. The new filter is looped around and is up against the firewall. I also relocated the oil filter. I now have to re-do the timing belts that my mechanic did; to get rid of the vibration. I also got rid of the captured rotors with new hubs from an Acura.
