Same thing on 1st gen Acura cl( they share many similarities).I am contemplating cutting it open as well since I don’t want to drop the tank. Thank you for your sacrifice and informing me of its location 🙏

Yep perfect example of engineers not caring about serviceability. No problem!

Great you got it running after your hard work ! Now I know I could access the fuel pump on my high miles '97 Accord if I had to...........without the insanity of dropping the tank.

Yep its insane they want the tank dropped for the fuel sending unit, I don't understand why car manufactures have to make things so hard to work on nowadays.

Great diagnostics & repair dude! I can't believe the engineers at Honda couldn't grace us with a fuel pump access panel. That's such a massive F-up! Honda & Toyota are usually really good about not doing S like that. My F-150 truck is the same way though, no access panel! I'm gonna have to cut a hole in my bed to get to it! Unreal! So dumb! And so is dropping the tank to "do the job correctly." No way, it's so much extra work for no reason.

I need your help brother. 94 accord lx. No power to the pump. New main relay and junkyard ecu( out of same year and model car ). Original ecu has burnt chip.

Hmm still sounds like you have a power or ground issue still.
I don’t have a wiring diagram but would recommend checking power with the pump unplugged if you haven’t already.
      My pump is was Seized.
Then make sure you have a good ground, it could be a issue on how the relay is switched, again sadly I don’t have a diagram but normally this would be switched by the key or ECU.
      Hope this helps.

Yeah, I do not think there is anything else you can do. Verify 15A fuse in driver side foot well is good. Main relay is good. Test power to fuel pump. If you have power, the pump is toast. If you do not have power, it is bad ground or damaged wire.

@@MiltonG413 Did you have a rack and pinion go bad on your honda? I did my fuel filter on a 94 ex, wasn't too bad except for needing sets of crows feet and flared crows feet wrenches.
