To anyone undecided about evacuating, there’s NOTHING more important than your safety! After 40 years dealing with hurricanes in Florida, I lean towards leaving whenever in doubt. Stay safe everyone!
Right now fcst says low Cat 3 but still far away from landing. Hurricane doesn't stay the same wind speed. If conditions in Gulf are positive, Hurricane will strengthen until the landing. And in this case Hurricane will have power from both Gulf and Atlantic, it might not weaken at all going over the land and continuing into Atlantic

It very well might high Cat 3 or low Cat 4 at landing in Florida
