Hi guys! thanks so much for clicking on my video. The first two days of my coast to coast journey were probably the easiest... it gets a lot more pain staking in the next instalment. Please feel free to give the video a like and subscribe if you haven't already, much love Ash
probs a bit late for advice now but if your feet are 'on fire' or tender, it helps to elevate your feet when you stop, especially if it's a temporary stop & you've still got a fair way to go. 😬👍

Hey Claire! Thanks so much! And thanks for all your support, couldn’t have done it without you... there were some proper sketchy bits, and all took its toll. Had a nice rest half that sorted me out! ☺️ thanks as always for watching. Have a great evening x

I did the same thing in 2014, 13 days and 12 nights wild camping. Carried everything i needed and got supplies in the little villages I passed through. By day 3 i found Wainwrights pocket guide so accurate I posted my maps back home to save some weight (I'm a traditional map and compass guy). Raised monies for the Alzheimer's Society. It was a hard slog so I feel your pain, I loved every min of it (Apart from one night Camping in the old mines in Gunnerside Beck, swear down its haunted, couldn't pack up and leave fast enough at day break) and made some good friends including two young lads from America that made the trip over just to do the CtoC. Great vid, brought back some great memories.
👍 So, Ash is not only walking a ridiculous distance to raise an incredible amount of money for charity, (20+ miles a day) he's also carrying the additional equipment to film it, giving us great views and footage, and then editing it, just so we can enjoy and follow along his journey! WOW! This guy deserves some credit! Good luck till the finish Ash 👍
Ahhh thanks so much mate! I really enjoyed the whole process here, and so glad I have the memories on film! Hope part two lives up to this one 😂 Thanks again Ash

Surprised more people don't use sleeping bags as quilts. I started doing it so my dog could get under on an unexpectedly cold Dartmoor camp. I added a hot liner to a three season bag, Bear already has a good layer of insulation, so we are good for 4 season.
Hi mate, yeah the bag to quilt conversion didn’t really work too well, the down kept migrating down towards the floor leaving my body exposed, wasn’t bad weather really so didn’t matter too much. I have an actual quilt now that is much better. Thanks for watching mate, All the best Ash
“Aye up lads” to the sheep 😂 I am so amazed you decided to do it in the Five Fingers. I take my hat off to you. Shockingly amazing scenery mate. It would have me bumbling in tears. Ash Outdoors UK - I'm fine, it's the start of the Aussie winter....I'm looking at your Pt.1 thinking I'm happy I only did 12 miles the other day 😊, but it did make me go out & buy proper fitting boots (I got my old ones cheap in the States but they're at least 1/2 a size too small, lovely boots, just no good for over 6 miles!!). Drone shots are a real 'Pro' touch 🎥👍👏👏👏. Hope you're recovering😬👍

Reyt effort. Can’t wait to see the rest 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Cheers buddy 🙏🏼🏕
Well done so far ,it’s on my to do list after watching Haze Outdoors doing it and then you have made me want to do it more.Good luck even though you have probably finished it anyway.
Thanks buddy! Yeah finished last week pal, loved it!
Brilliant mate, the views look amazing, I bet you were glad you chose to take the drone!? You done some miles there too bud considering the terrain that’s very impressive mate👍🏻 looking forward to the next one
Thanks George, yes glad I took it, however It didn’t get used too much more to be honest lol
Thanks for watching

Surprised more people don't use sleeping bags as quilts. I started doing it so my dog could get under on an unexpectedly cold Dartmoor camp. I added a hot liner to a three season bag, Bear already has a good layer of insulation, so we are good for 4 season.
Hi mate, yeah the bag to quilt conversion didn’t really work too well, the down kept migrating down towards the floor leaving my body exposed, wasn’t bad weather really so didn’t matter too much.
I have an actual quilt now that is much better.
Thanks for watching mate,
All the best

“Aye up lads” to the sheep 😂
I am so amazed you decided to do it in the Five Fingers. I take my hat off to you.
Shockingly amazing scenery mate. It would have me bumbling in tears.
Superb vid with some cool music.
Fair play on your mountain rescue 👍🏼
Jeepers, nothing like a brief in and out overnighter 😯
Doffs cap once more as I watch what is coming up in the series 🥺
Lol, the vibrams went half way mate, not the best idea! Thanks for watching Tim, hope all is well
@@AshOutdoorsUK It was a challenge you had to give a good go at and you did blimmin well in my eyes wearing them. That was some old going on that terrain!
Hat off to you!
This is so good! Looking forward to part 2
Thanks buddy! Glad you enjoyed it!

Stellar effort Ash lad! Spent a lot of time in that area in my younger years, the views are always well worth the effort. Bet you were stoked with your decision to press on from the shack and pitch up at the waters edge! Looking forward to part 2!
Yes for sure mate, even tho I think I would have slept better in the shack to be honest
Thanks for watching mate
Ash
Awesome pal , to think I was going attempt it this year
Not fit enough and issues with my knee so wimped out lol
Great vid roll on episode 2 👏
Thank so much mate, just go for it, it’s much easier if you actually plan your route rather than just walking till you drop like I did 😂
🤔 surprised y'didn't leave a quote for some plastering/rendering in that abandoned hut thing😊👍. 🏕😬 part 2 looks grim!!
It needed a good old patch up Billy... or knocking down 😂 hope you’re all good buddy? Thanks for watching

Amazing video
Thanks so much mate
@@AshOutdoorsUK i would love to do this mate. Can't wait to watch the rest of it 🤙🤙🔥
What an incredible start to your adventure! 😃 loved the drone footage! Yeah I get puffy eyes from camping, what causes it? Can’t wait to see the rest x well done to you for helping that guy that fell over 🤗🤗🤗
Aw thanks Kerry! I put mine down to lack of sleep lol! Had 3 bad nights right at the start! 😴
Can’t blame the beer this time lol
Thanks for watching, hope you’re well x
