It's interesting to me that so many of these games are so visually impressive not because of the graphical tech but more because of great artistry and a high level of polish. Many of them are just the standard two background layers and very few graphical tricks, usually just some decent row/line scrolling and priority shifting on the backgrounds for extra parallax, but the background art and sprite work is really high quality. Having great art and high level of polish goes a long way.
By the way, you missed some obvious standout examples like The Adventures of Batman & Robin, Toy Story, Ranger-X, Contra: Hard Corps, and Dynamite Headdy.
Toy story, panorama cotton, Adv. of Batman & Robin, and jurassic world. And genesis games look MUCH better at 480p.
Toy story and Adventure of Batman & Robin almost appeared in the video 😀

😂😂 , Ye Virtua Racing had very impressive graphics, I agree with you, after that I didn't put it in the top because a lot of people talk about this game, I wanted to change it a little by showing some slightly less common games 😁, I recently got Dynamite Headdy, I haven't yet been able to form an opinion on the game ^^ but it looks really good too 😃
Batman and Robin is beautiful

@@panagiotis-h3nas cliche as this rivalry is i think the super nintendo was better, you cant beat nintendos franchises : Mario, Zelda, Donkey kong, kirby, metroid nothing that sega offered had quite as much polish on it or quality, i do think it was still a solid console though with its own great exlusives & i still play my mega drive from time to time

Pocahontas
I recently got Pocahontas, and it was because I hesitated to put it in the top that I took it 😅, I find the Pocahontas animations very good 👌
There are too many sega genesis games that had beautiful graphics hard to pick
This was a tough choice for me, to be honest. 😮💨

Batman & Robin was very challenging but man the graphics were brilliant
