How To Remove Porsche 911 964 Rocker Panels (Side Skirts) and Molding Clips

As requested by you guys, let's remove the rocker panels. As I prepare the car for paint, I am helping with the teardown.

I can't afford a my dream car 964 but just bort a 1988 convertible woch I want to convert to a tin top so your rag top removal should help
Also want to unfashionably up date to 964 so side skirt and front / back bumper videos will be a grate help to me

Thank you! I appreciate you. Yeah I like the g body too. I had a coupe and went to a cab. After cruising top down and the open top really changed the experience for me. I have had many coupes. They are great if you want to build a fast track car, but its not very fun to drive a track car around the streets or long trips. I think I am just getting old. lol

@@levelupclassics Left side done - took me some time to figure out what goes under where while building things back ;) Right side next. Can be done without jacking up the car/removing tires, but it needs some tiny hands...

Hi. Thank you for this great video. I am not 100% sure if I understood this correctly. If I only want to replace the weatherstrip, I don't have to remove the whole rocker panel? I am a bit worried about the clips. Thank you. Phil

Watch 6:25 to 7:50. Then replace the new seal in reverse. When you loosen everything it will make enough space that you can slide in the new one. Thanks for watching!!
