I HAVE A STUPID QUESTION! PLEASE BE GENTLE! 😳 Just started rebuilding transmissions so I'm more of an remove and replace and verify play.. SO, dual feeding. Why not the forward drum as well as the direct drum? I always enjoy your videos. I've learned a great deal from you. Thank you for that.
They say the only silly question is the one not asked. I leave the drum seal out of the forward drum as well , no other mods needed. Doing that allows the piston to fill both halves at once.. GM did this on the TH475s. Thanks for watching!
Perfect timing Shawn... I was just reading the Crankshaft Coalition web page. It says to use 5 check balls but in your DIY Shift Kit video you mentioned you use only 2 checkballs. What is the difference that will happen between the 2 different ways? Thanks for all your help in doing these TH400 videos.
You can blame us in NC for the heat wave. It has been cooking down here.
Thanks! The beauty of New England is the weather is always changing! Don’t like it, wait a minute!
@@mountainsgarage that's the way the piedmont is in NC. We can have all seasons in a day.
