The melody that develops with the low notes is incredible, super beautiful, profound, very different from the ordinary case, where we have the melody in the high notes! A masterful composition by Chopin, super, without comparison, that only Anastasia knows how to play !!!!

Greetings Anastasia!!! I was curious as I started taking private piano lessons about 6 months ago. When playing octaves do you recommend playing all the white keys with fingers 1 & 5, and all the black keys with fingers 1& 4..?? I feel like it definitely helps with accuracy and consistency in playing the correct note/key...However, do you think it could actually somewhat slow me down when playing octaves at a faster tempo? (i.e. liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody 2 or something? )..thank you very kindly for any advice or comment if you so happen to get a few minutes!!! Thank you!! #fan♡
Dear Brandon, I'm happy that you play piano too! :-) Generally, I play octaves like you wrote too, but in jumps or long octave lines I search for the most "ergonomic" fingering and sometimes take 1&4 on white and 1&5 on black keys too. Have a nice week, Anastasia

I regard this music a little part of Russian feeling, the cascades of music sound dramatic but have also a deep fascination. And could better represent this fascination then our great Anastasia.
Lovely play as always, did you enjoy the Fazioli? It looks like marvelous action, I don't know if it was the micing or space but it seemed so stifled and lacked the dynamics of your play yet, I know they are wonderful instruments.

As a woman she is gorgeous, as a pianist she is good player (but far from the top ones) , as for choosing the piano she lacks expertise : the tone is really awfull, seems to be a very cheap brand !
It´s a Fazioli... the most expensive brand in the world. By the way, it doesn't sound very well to me too. Maybe it´s a problem with the recording equipment...
yup, that Huppmann lady is awful, plays pawn shop quality pianos, can't keep a beat, I just don't know🤷♂️ hahaha! might I suggest you familiarize yourself with the piece she is playing? The lady is brilliant. She's a genius. Anastasia Huppmann is the #QueenOfTheKeyboards. As far as the piano, I prefer the sound of a Steinway, then a Borsendorfer. It wasn't the piano, though. You aren't familiar with the piece.

was thinking EXACTLY the same...sounds too metallic, just like an old used Steinway, even that its a FAZIOLI.

Sorry but the most expensive Fazioli is around 150,000 € while the Steinway range from 100.000 € to 2.3 millions €
