They have some upper hand in society, maybe because of there background. I heard that in IIT Madras most of the non Brahmin students drop out due to mental torture from there teachers , who are mostly Brahmins. Do you think there is no discrimination.

Then do you know how a judge is elected , president will ask senior judges to suggest a name who is really good in his profession. And 50% of judges in India are Brahmins. Isn't that suspecious. Ofcourse they are brilliant Brahmin advocate , but it is true there are brilliant non Brahmin advocates, and Brahmins are a small percentage compaire it with the sum of rest of casts & religion, still 50% judges are Brahmins. I think that oppression benifited them , also there generations are highly educated , but that's not the case for a person from humble background. So these backgrounds influence a person's growth. That's why reservation exist .
