The body is complex and its to easy just checking the selenium and not take in all other vitamin-minerals, omega-3/6, body-fat composition, ascorbic acid intake and so weiter. I think that US concider up to 600 microgram is safe. It must be taken into account which suppleant you take,, if its the organic ones or selenite or selenate.. And the bodies ability to take away selenium,,, as intake of MSM and so on. I go on with my 400 micrograms a day.
Could you tell me What's the difference between Selenite and selenata, I've been searching fora year, And just can't find the answer, Any advice would be appreciated.
Is the form of Selenium important considering the diabetes risk? I’ve heard in another video that selenomethionine doesnt increase diabetes risk. Do you know if this is correct?
I bought pure selenium from a local feed mill and I want to dose it for my horse. Horses should get on average a supplemented 2 to 3 mg of selenium daily.... I don't know how to measure that out? There is no label on the bag, I just know it's 100% selenium. Any suggestions?
Dr Peter osborne said that maximum dose is around 400 mcg with no side effects
