Last year my TSH W/REFLEX TO FT4 Result was 6.32 (abnormal range), today it was 3.48 (normal range). I have had hypothyroidism for awhile, but never took any prescription drugs for it. I started taking selenium last Fall. I wanted to heal it myself. By the way, my doctor never told me to take selenium. I had to become my own doctor. I'm so happy to be in the normal range now.
I’ve been eating 2 daily for 3 years. I soak several overnight in the fridge, dry them off and keep them in the fridge for use. this gives them a softer and more pleasant texture. I also keep all nuts in the fridge after opening the bags so that the oils in them don’t get rancid.
Soak them in water for 8 hours to remove the phytic acid, you can cut half a lemon and squeeze the juice into the water you're soaking the nuts in to further help remove it.
@@3_1_3rd_gaming I soaked mine yesterday for the first time in filtered water, next time I'll use lemon to help remove more of the phytic acid... I have hypothyroidism so brazil nuts are a lifeline.
Off it now only got on it cause I was getting boils but it doesn’t help you want zinc eat oyster if you want the shell for cleansing skin pores and if you want to clear liver and kidney heat just take the supplement on its own
I don't know about this. I'm from the south and we ate brazil nuts by the cup full. This was in the 60s and 70s I guess it's a good thing we were too dumb to know we could over dose and go bald. Or maybe God made it so our body could process the nuts the way he interned and all we got was healthy and happy to eat them until we ran out 🤔
@@bobweiram6321 Hmm, interesting. IDK but maybe that's why _mica onyx_ could eat so much because the excess selenium was used to fight off the free radicals of the radioactivity.

Its hard for the body to absorb selenium so sometimes taking supplements is better

It would appear you have your ducks in a row.

Thanks for the tips!!
What about the phytic acid?
Is selenium found in cashews or almonds? If so, how many of these nuts equate to the amount found in ten hazelnuts?
Bravo. Very well explained. Regards Australia
What can we do if we hate nuts
other reason why not to take more than 3: accumulation of radioactive radium
Brazil nuts are acidic which then blocks selenium, the question is how to remove the acidity from the nuts

Very slight. No where near the acidity of your stomach.

What about people who have no teeth ? Could they make Brazil nut butter and have the benefits?
I'm no expert, but I don't see why not,
as long as the butter is made with the whole nut.
brazil nuts are also high in RADIUM and CADIUM , after eating them i felt sick for few days , better choice is fish or liver
