I tried this today in sport mode and I was confused why it only revved to 1500rpm before I launched! Now I realize I wasn't actually engaging launch control... next time I'll try it with ESC in competitive mode. Thanks for the info!

They may have done it just fine. 0-60 is as much a measure of traction as it is power. While launch control is supposed to minimize traction related launch issues its not perfect. As an example, launch control will work the same on a cold day vs warm day, on street tires or on drag radials, on a sticky prepped track as on gravel. But you wouldn't launch the same in these situations so people just need to experiment to get those magazine times
@@Shaolin_ant Bummer on not having magnetic ride. Other than the HTC option, Magnetic Ride is the make it or leave it option for me for choosing to have the C8. I wasted my money on the Front Lift - which I expect to fail sooner than later because I never use it....
Horrible. Just wanted to learn to launch, instead I get the encyclopedia. Didn’t launch or show the process. Do I apply brake? Is it automatic engaged. “ nannies”!?!?

Put the car in track mode. Then hit the traction button twice and you. And you should active the launch control

I do believe that you have to have Mag ride mine does not and have not yet been able to get it to launch
After i get competitive mode on, my launch still does not work, i press the break and then drive mode and then nothing lol

Only way you can get into all those driving modes is if you have magnetic ride I have 2023 z51 no magnetic ride and I can’t access it
