Jason, your videos are well produced, and very helpful; I appreciate what you do for the MEVO/worship community. Our church has been having problems with our livestream going intermittent during worship (and this with a fully hard-wired MEVO system no less). Our situation is complex and unusual, so I am going to take your advice and present it to the Facebook MEVO users community.

Thanks my issue was that I changed the password tho my home router one day. Then when I came to set up my Mevo cameras it was telling me that it couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. For days I didn’t know how to fix the issue. But following these steps I was able to fix it. I have a iPhone I went into the settings, clicked Mevo Multicam and went to local network and switched it off then back on. Then I reopened the app , clicked set up and choose yes I do have Wi-Fi and it automatically connected to my home Wi-Fi. I didn’t even have to enter the password. Just automatically. Thank you for your help. 💯💯💯

We have one mevo camera we use for live streaming our church services and are going to a 3 camera system. Your set up, position wise, sounds like what we will be doing. It was doing well until about 2 weeks ago. The mevo camera would not connect do to failed permission. I am going to try what you said and see if that works. Hopefully it will work. Thank you.

Hi Jason -very helful videos - I've been watching most of them about Mevo Start cameras - I still can't connect it to my Wi-Fi network and Mevo support still hasn't helped me to solve this issue. Can you please give us some advice?

Thanks Jason. I really appreciate your videos. I am at a new church and I am currently in the process of setting up Wifi within our church building. I want your opinion on the following: During the week, we have a daily prayer service held in our small chapel. I would like to livestream it...it would only need one camera (no additional sound other than the mic on the mevo) because the space is so small. Yet on Weekends, I would like to use 3 cameras (using the multi-cam app)....with the sound coming out of our sound system into the Ipad (for the audio) in our larger worship space. Here is my question: Can I use the multi-cam app during the week - when i only want to use the one camera? Or would it be better to use the single camera app during the week?
I seldom stream with the single camera app any more, even when only using the one Mevo. The only time I still use Mevo2.0 is if I need to change shots in the single camera stream. It’s just easier. Do you just ‘set it and forget it’ during the prayer service?
@@JasonHoffmanYT Yes. For the weekday one...i would set it and forget it...because the space is tiny...Maybe 6 feet apart (needed viewing area) and the camera is probably about 6 feet away... So, just for my clarity...you can use the multi app for only one camera....i just wasnt sure about settings etc between the two apps....

Hey Jason, I’ve been following all your baseball setups. I currently am running a GL-Inet beryl as my. Behind the plate router with 4 Mevo cameras attached on the 2.4 side and my iPad running Mevo Multicam on 5g. I was using a slate atx 1800 for this and never could make it stable. So I have reconfigured the slate to repeater mode and want to use it in centerfield for over the shoulder shot with my vm33.
The problem I’m running in to is I can’t see the vm33 as an NDI source unless I have the camera and the Multicam app on the same Router. I’m wondering if I have the “repeater” configuration correct as both routers kept their old names. I seem to remember a video you did about configuring 2 slate routers to work together but can’t find it. My 2 routers are not the same model but built by the same company and I would hope it would still work.

I’m guessing it’s one of these two. Sounds like you repeater is not set up right. Mine have two distinct names with one in repeater mode.
I’ll have Ryan Houchen on the Streamology Podcast Thursday and we’ll be talking about this very setup. He has used it with great success on his live streams.
why I can't see my pages on the list , i can only streem on my profile or groups
I have seen this question asked many times after one of the recent software updates or Facebook API changes. I havent had the problem myself so I havent explored an answer, but on the Facebook Mevo Customer Group it has been discussed at length.
I have 2 mevo cameras, 1 connect to my laptop but other one does not connect - any thoughts why 1 one od the camera is not connecting
Two cameras, both in webcam mode? Both on the same network as your laptop? What software are you looking for them in?

@@JasonHoffmanYT We have been using the Mevo system more and more for a few months now. For demonstrations, book presentations, short interviews... it is of course something completely different from what you use the Mevo's for :-)
I’m always very encouraged to see folks use it in ways different than mine.
Got the multi pack and 2 of the cameras set up. The app doesn't see the third.. Any fix? Ive done a factory reset already.
can you see if it is recognized by another device? if you are trying on your tablet, maybe try on your phone? Otherwise, I’d open a ticket with Mevo.
Is it possible to stream with the Mevo Start without using the phone app?
Yes. Can be done with a variety of apps on a computer. If you are talking about streaming without any other device, once set up, this is possible as well. The power button can be set so when it is pressed (after it is already powered up of course) it will either 1.record or 2.stream to the previously designated destination. It takes the phone app to designate this but provided you have a saved internet connection available it will start streaming with all the settings of last session. Which were you asking about?

I have given up on streaming to FB. Never do it anymore. I stream to TH-cam and share the link on FB.
Ok... I am sure this has been answered on this group previously, but I need this answered expeditiously.
I have one Mevo camera. I use Restream to go live on Facebook and TH-cam. I am using the MEVO as a webcam also
During nearly every broadcast the audio input goes horribly wrong. The audience says we sound like "chipmunks". The only way I have found to fix this is toggle between inputs or to completely refresh the browser. This has become extremely frustrating. I am not understanding because there is no consistency. The Mevo mic may do it, the installed computer mic may do it, and the only thing that this inconsistent anomaly responds to is the toggle or refresh.
Does any one know what is happening and how to fix this?

I'm not getting the 'chipmunk' voice, but it is cutting out terribly. So as you are talking in the section you referred us to it's like a bad phone call where you only hear some of the words said. If your live viewers are hearing the chipmunk then your audio is having to catch up, so to speak. Is there a setting in Restream that prioritizes video over audio?
Do you use 5 or 2.4 ghz?
Seldom do I ever use 2.4. AAMOF I disabled the 2.4 broadcast on my MiFi.
