Hello Jason, I was curious if you’ve experimented with wirelessly connecting a VM33 to OBS? I’m a graphic designer by trade and I’ve made hundreds of graphics for my broadcasts but I can’t figure out a way to connect my Cameras wirelessly to OBS. Any help or ideas would be fantastic!

100%! Good upload is the key and often the hardest part.

This thing looks amazing for a professional. But for the rest of us, in addition to cost, it’s yet another piece of gear to charge, carry, setup, operate, update, try not to break or lose, and keep clean … especially when every one of your streams requires travel. While this product is intriguing, my biggest wish right now is faster, more reliable upload speeds.

Sir i need your help. Please suggest a camera that i can use to live stream a cricket match. The camera will be set 70 metre away from the centre pitch where all action take place. In this video your quality is good but you camera is just near the batter. In cricket the batter is 60-70 metres away. Thanks

Is the Nearstream multi cam app just as good as Mevo Multicam. Currently have the Mevo Start and VM33. I'm thinking about going with the VM46 and VM33 just using those to cameras for Gamechanger. Wyt

Hi Jason - for the past couple years, I have had reasonable success using 3-4 Mevo Starts for my softball livestreams. Usually one camera behind home plate looking straight out to the pitcher, one from behind home looking down the third base line, one looking down the first base line, and my favorite - one in the dugout to capture all the cheers and excitement. Hoping to experiment with a CF view in the near future as well. You have my interest with a possible Obsbot Tail 2 with optical zoom...I'll be watching for that!

Any idea why Mevo wont sell into Australia? seems to be blocked on all selling channels Would Nearstream be a good alternative? i can get that here

How are you pulling the cameras into your yolobox? Do you have any videos on this? Just got the yolobox, and looking to add something like the mevo's to my setup but was unsure how to bring them in

The battery in one of my Mevo Starts is failing which gives me an excuse to get something better. The Mevo Core, even with a pancake lens, is massive in comparison; I'm impressed you were able to mount it magnetically so close to the fence. I've set the Core on a tripod behind home plate which carries too many issues. I've been running my hotspot and router inside a ventilated junction box; your setup high on the post might make more sense. Always learning from you - thanks again Jason.

I still love running my 3 Mevo Starts and VM46. Considering adding and Obsbot Tail Air to it as well.

I need action/instant replays, so I want to add either DM or Ultra. Love to see a real work walkthrough of each. I’m favouring the DM drawing on the screen if the replay features are the same. Also an added bonus would be to then run some or all the replays after the game for a wrap up of the best shots.

Ended up going with one VM46 along with two VM33 cameras. This will be my first year streaming ( I was a coach before) I went with the Slate AXT1800 router that you recommend. What route should i go for a MIFI hotspot and what service? We play youth travel ball and will be playing every weekend almost from mid April to mid July. So I would love something unlimited for a decent price. Thank you and your video's have been a huge help with me starting out!

Does Yolo charge extra for the NDI connection?

What do I need to record with a multi-cam setup on my truck while driving, I have the Mevo app and three Mevo cams, to connect wirelessly I have to turn wifi on and hotspot? the Mevo is not finding the cameras, it does find them at home though. I don't intend to go live just to record. Thanks!

Thanks Jason. When Facebook removed the ability to stream directly from 3rd party streaming apps to Facebook Groups, we followed the RTMP workaround, with terrible results. Initially, our iPad didn't support multitasking, so the MEVO Multicam software would stop recording when we switched to Safari (containing our Facebook group page). Worse yet, this happened intermittently! After much research, we finally discovered the multitasking limitation and upgraded our tablet. This worked for a while, but then the Go Live button in our Facebook Group would (intermittently) not be enabled (after launching the recording in MEVO and switching to Facebook on the tablet). And again, it was intermittent! We even tried testing it 30 minutes before Sunday Worship, and everything would work fine ... only to have it fail when we launched it for real ... sometimes! I couldn't find any explanation on the internet until I found this video. (I've watched many of your videos when I was first getting started in livestreaming). We will try your suggestion. Hello, I like to use the Mevo camera( 2 cameras) with GameChanger for Baseball. I may be asking silly question but Main goal is to capture my son as well as the team pitching and hitting. Does the Mevo camera have the ability to record a full baseball game? or do I use the gamechanger to put the games on a cloud service via live streaming ?

Hey Jason, when did you switch back to Speedify? I remember in past videos you stated that you couldn’t tell if it was working or not. Also are you going to continue with Speedify once they start charging for routers?

Have you retired all your Mevo Start cameras? Will all these "non mevo" cameras connect through Multicam without an NDI box?

Jason, can you save your presets to use again? If you often live stream from the same location it would be such a timesaver not to have to recreate them each time.

Jason i am trying to figure out what setup i am going to try for 2025 baseball streaming. One question that pops in my mind is how well do the cameras stay connected with one in center field and the other two closer to the infield. I will just be using a phone hotspot. Thank you

Why is it called OBS(BOT) if they have nothing to do with OBS? I think that's missleading. Also thier website is so generic "we bought some cheap electronics in China, slab brand on it, and sell it for 3x the price" vibe

Nice updates by Mevo single cam. We need GC / SLHD to catch up with these changes and support the higher resolutions and frame rate. I dual stream to GC & SLHD and my data usage is double then when I only stream to SLHD b/c GC doesn't support HEVC yet.

I was thinking about Lynkspyder's question... If your input quality is 1080p and you are streaming at 1080p and you digitally crop, you will lose quality. If your input quality is 2k and you punch in 2x, you will be 1080p, if your input quality is 4k and you punch in 4x you will be at 1080p.
