How can I connect it to my soundboard using the mevo muti-cam app

This is an amazing enhancement! Thank you for being the first and I think the only person I’ve seen anywhere on YT that highlighted this critical feature! 🎉❤

Some people are getting this error: Mevo Multicam "Speed HQ NDI inputs not supported...." when trying to connect NDI HX cameras to Multicam. These sources work fine with NewTek software and OBS plug-ins but won't connect to Multicam. Have you seen this and/or have any solutions?

For anyone who can help. I just started using a DJI Action 3 in hope to live stream games for parents at home. My goal is to use my phone hot spot to steam, provide parents a youtube (or facebook) URL and all parents have to do is visit the youtube channel or click on the link provided to start watching. How can I accomplish this? do I need a pay subscription of some sort to do this? any free option? Thank you.

Do you have a suggestion for a lightning adapter to Ethernet that could connect an iPad running Multicam to an iPhone 13 Pro Max for internet? Seems like all I’ve seen are 10/100mbps and wouldn’t that actually be worse than just connecting each via WiFi? Wanted to hard wire to see if it helps reliably of stream so i can still connect another iPad wirelessly to run GameChanger.

Hey @JasonHoffmanYT - This weekend was HOT in the Midwest. We had a baseball tournament and my streaming setup includes Mevo Start and I'm using my phone hotspot for the Mevo. Most people at the ballpark this weekend attempting to stream had an issue with the heat. I wasn't the only one... but my phone kept overheating. I did manage to make it through our last game.. but I held my phone in my hand in the shade.. this isn't really a feasible option.. but I did it this time because I wanted to ensure the stream stayed on. Have you had issues with extreme heat with your equipment? What are your tips to ensure that the heat isn't an issue for your hardware? Thank you! Note - I had a heat shield for the Mevo.. and it did great. No issues with my Mevo Start. It was just my phone. Thank you in advance!

Do I need a mifi or can I tether my Samsung tablet to the router in Hotspot mode. My tablet is also my main control center that I would want to stream from. My mevo starts (2 of them) connect wireless to router

can the dashboard be accessed and operated remotely offsite? also, what’s the field of view with the different lens accessories? wondering if this would be a suitable fixed camera behind home plate that could be operated remotely.

LumaFusion on Samsung Galaxy with DeX capable dongle, plug in HDMI screen, keyboard and mouse, and you've got a crazy powerful portable editing rig that doesn't consume much power.

The CS version looks ideal for a fixed position camera in places an operator can't go, or can't fit, such as in a lighting grid for a cooking show, or on the safety fence at a motorsport venue, or a streaming camera between two monitors for business or Twitch Gamers. The camera controls look very user-freindly, shame it doesn't have an option for two 1080p streams at the same time, that would have enabled a main output to switcher and secondary output to replay recorder. Having both ethernet based outputs and HDMI/SDI, it could also be used for a low priced competitor to BMD's 'studio' range - add B4 lens and mount, plus monitor on the HDMI output, plus basic Tripod, then ethernet out to vMix or OBS system, and you've got a very budget focused setup for local or state level sports production.

I’m camera illiterate. I see there is a 5-50mm 12MP C-Mount Zoom Lens….. Is this lens suitable for a center field shot?

Great video. Just purchased two Mevo Cores, in large part because the Nearstream website was not working, and did not show me what their multi-cam software looked like. I will likely purchase one VM46 (they are 10% off!) but since I own a few micro 4/3rd power zoom lenses, think I will settle on the Mevo Core. Nice to have so much choice! Will run the VM46 in via NDI, to the Mevo Multi-Cam app. Greatly appreciate the video Jason.

Can you control the VM33 zoom while it’s connected to the YoloBox?

What about overheating? That’s not unique to the Mevo of course, any camera can when the outdoor temps rise and sun shines. Just curious if you have experience with that?

For example, if I'm setting up on the 50 yard and the scrimmage starts at the 20. If the ball is thrown for 30 yards, will it be able to PTZ to the action?

Jason, What would you suggest for a parent that wants to record/stream a game with the ultimate goal being going5 into the game and to clip out plays to create short video's of plays/players.

Can a NearStream be integrated into a Mevo setup and still use Mevo MultiCam? Thinking of purchasing one so the holy grail over the shoulder shot can be added with the use of an AX Slate as an extender.

When using SidelineHD, do you just put your team roster in or the opposing team too? Also when scoring a game: do you go live first or not score first? I'm struggling with these two

Finally a great detailed video. Quick question - if you're not going to use the AX1800 slate as a repeater, why not just use the Mifi for wifi? I got the Nighthawk M6 Pro 5G mmWave WiFi 6E Mobile Hotspot Router so planning on just using that and remove the AX1800 from the setup. Do you see any issues with doing that?

What’s the best camera to use for behind home plate. Single camera use only. Video game so I can clip highlights of plays throughout the game. Nearstream v33 or Mevo start. This would be for a beginner. Would like best image in video form. Also, want to be able to video whole field as well as zoom in on a particular play. Which would best fit my needs?

Help please, I’ve watched all your videos and you do a fantastic job breaking down the cameras, their features, capabilities , etc. I’m needing some advice. I only want to use a single camera as we travel a lot. (2 kiddos: baseball/softball: 14yrs old/ 11 yrs old: positions C,OF/SS,P) I’ve viewed Mevo start, Nearstream V33, Emeet, Osbot trail cam, among a few others. I’m so confused as to which camera would be suitable for my needs/wants. Basically, I just want to video games to be able to clip highlights of great plays/great hits. (Recruitment/showcase purposes, son is at age, almost 15/9th grade, where he is beginning showcase ball) Probably won’t use streaming capabilities, but want it available in the event I decide I would like to stream (for family). Which camera would best fit my needs?
