    Already learned so much about using mevo from your prior youtubes, especially using rtmp and multistreaming.
    Now, thank you for help with multicam!

    I’ve been testing too! So far so good! Video is helpful as always Jason! Thanks for all you do for the streaming world, especially softball and baseball!

      @@JasonHoffmanYT it’s year round here! except for Nov/Feb. I do baseball/softball of course with SLHD, but also figuring out Volleyball and streaming our Marching band too!

      WOW! What a great service you’re providing to parents and community! Love it! What are you using for data? My MiFi hotspot is pretty good but always on the lookout for something better.

    Good morning Jason from SC. My question is after you have connected to the access points can you now go live?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have cellular data (and a decent connection) on the device running Multicam, yes.

    I tried using access point but when I went to stream it said I didn't have a network connection. I think this was because I was connected to the "mevo camera" network. How would I be able to stream with access point?

    Is there Mevo multicam software for Windows? Can the cameras be attached to computer with the USB output?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is webcam software for windows. It can be either wired or wireless, but it’s not the software we get on mobile devices. It really just allows it to be picked up as a webcam for the computer.

    Can you help us please! We are trying to upload my husbands PowerPoint on the mevo multicam for his Sunday presentation. I don’t see an option to upload a presentation like I did when we have only one mevo camera. I also don’t see the option to add a countdownblike with our regular mevo. Can you please assist? Thank you!

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      pretty sure your best solution for tomorrow is to run a one camera setup and not use Multicam. it doesn’t have to functionality to do some of what the single cam software does. sorry there’s not a better answer.

      Then for the next worship service, you can export your PP slides to images and load them in Multicam. They will then be available to display via the images tab. It is a bit more time consuming but will work until there is more we can to in Multicam.

    Are you using your Ipad to connect both to wifi and ethernet at the same time?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do very often, yes. I run a usb-c to ethernet adapter out of my MiFi hotspot and the same adapter in to my ipad. I bond these together with Speedify.

    Thanks for the video & all you do. I have been confused by the wifi from one camera and how the others connect to it. Your video clarified a lot. Also, I have been thinking about doing your wifi set up to an iPad. Question, do u think making an the iPhone the portable wifi might be a good idea, this way I don’t have to buy the mini pack? I do realize I may not be able to hard wire to the iPad. My thought was to record, so the iPhone can be the main wifi, where all cameras and iPad can connect to. Any thoughts?

      I’ve tested the iphone in a setup like you describe and it never gives the upload speed or reliability to keep cameras connected compared to the dedicated hotspot device.

    Do you need a crossover ethernet cable from hotspot to a tablet? I am assuming your connection it to a apple computer and not an iPad?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Standard cable to usb-c/ethernet adapters connecting MiFi to iPad Pro 2020. I’m releasing a Multicam video in the morning (10/11/21) showing this setup in use. It will be toward the end of the video. Are you running a hotspot in your setup?

    • @hoochthefireman
      @hoochthefireman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JasonHoffmanYT I am using the same hotspot you are. I actually tested it this today between a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. It worked well. I had to disconnect the tablet a few times to get it to regonize the ethernet connection but it worked out. I am testing distance later today at a scrimmage game.

      We use mevo to livestream church services. Our operators are 3 teens who rotate in the schedule, so we need to keep it easy to learn. With one camera we pan to for musicians on the left and right of the chancel/stage. With 2 cameras, we hope to avoid the panning, maybe move the operator back to the sound booth in back of the church so the congregation doesn’t see the operator popping up and down to pan.

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kingstonpresbyterianchurch2304 A remote panning device (there are cheaper Pivo alternatives) might be what fills the bill in your situation. But the two camera setup will be nice as you can switch out and zoom for the next shot on the one not active at the moment.

    Thanks for a good video Jason 👍
    Question(s): if I am going to use the multicam app in the Android tablet and the Windows webcam software (and do the actual streaming from the Windows computer and streaming software) can I use that first method mentioned in your video, making one of the cameras the wifi hotspot and kinda let them do their own thing between cameras and the tablet? So can I connect my laptop to whole another wifi hotspot which has the internet connection?
    Or do that tablet and computer have to connect to the same wifi hotspot so the wireless webcam connection could work?
    I suppose that the wired webcam connection is only possible with one Mevo camera, not the multicam setup?

    Hello Jason, I am broadcasting in a baseball park from the broadcast booth and I have another camera in the stands, this last one does not receive a signal from the hotspot that I have with me in the broadcast booth, would the camera in the stands connect in this way?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it wont connect to the hotspot it likely wont this way either. Can you mount the hotspot outside the press box and run ethernet into the booth?

    So, from there... How do you stream it live to TH-cam? I have a channel. I can go live from my phone. I'd like to use my Mevo & phone. Using the YT Studio is tough with the RTMP, but I have gotten to there before. I have 2 phones, 1 Mevo. I will pay for premium of whatever. EX: Whole soccer field form Mevo, then use Mevo Multi Cam on a cell phone to be just on the Goal box. using my other phone to control the things I need. How do I accomplish this and stream on my TY Channel? There are many YT videos, but none of them seem to cover certain things.
