Enjoying this one. Sorry you hurt your back. My left leg is almost 2 inches shorter than the right. Rods and screws after turning a flip and landing on my concrete floor in the house. Broke the left hip and femur. Well after 5 years of it slowly getting shorter my right hip is in pain constantly. Over use. Now I don’t know what to do. Scary. I know how you feel Abel. Rest and stay warm.
I recommend a hip replacement. I had one last July and had only mild incision pain and was walking a few months later.

Back in '81 I made grilled cheese bacon and tomato on whole wheat sandwiches for myself. Great for breakfast or lunch. My fav food for 43yrs. Yummy

When your back starts giving you problems it is amazing how it affects so many things it affects. Take care of your back what ever it needs or you will regret it later in life. I am speaking from experience. You are making great videos, keep up the good work.
as a middle aged man with lower back pain, i concur. have to keep those stretches going and keep the back muscles loose. lower back pain sucks.

I can relate to how you were getting out of that chair in pain! I have lower back problems and it’s super easy for me to ping my back and be down and out!

You really know and utilize tarps when camping. You know where to set up, and try new set ups. You're really talented in camping, and you are certainly NOT afraid of the cold weather.
Hot water bottle on your back will help relax you back muscles. But when you get home use a heating pad on your back.

OMG Abel - you did so much better than I would. When I hurt my lower back I am sore/stiff for at least 3 days... and that's at home, not out in the tops like you did! Although you were in excruciating pain, you did an awesome job! Great ideo, awesome to see the snow, although I watched with a blanket around my shoulders LOL. Wait till you getinto your 40s mate.I am a trucker and always suffering with my back but iignore the discomfort,the best thing is to keep moving gently or ifits too back a cold bath.Great video dispite the injury.Take careof yourself buddy👍
I sympathise with the back, I had lumbago for three weeks recently, frustrating for people like us who like to be active. I hope yours heals up quicker. I watch your videos because I dream of wild camping in beautiful locations.

Terrific footage of the snow and storm! What a trooper to put on a smiling face, keep going and still enjoy the time on the tops despite the obvious pain you were in.
From what you've described it does sound like a disc injury. When they go out of alignment, the sciatic nerve gets pinched and pressure builds. This translates down the leg as pain, weakness and even numbness. Last year my husband experienced a severe extraforaminal disc herniation and it took many months to heal but he was able to avoid an invasive operation through aquatherapy. It was a deal-breaker and was much more effective than physiotherapy. With changes and retraining with the way he lifted it has not been a problem since.
If you can get in the pool and walk, resistance exercise is key. All the very best for a full recovery with no lasting issues.
It’s been a week and there has been pretty substantial recovery. I think the injury wasn’t super serious but it’s given me a wake up call to be more careful. Still a bit weak and sore but way more mobility and seem to improve daily
That is heartening news, the advantages of youth! If it's an ACC injury and you mention weak leg that can fast track you to an MRI.

Have you tried an Inversion table to help with your back pain. Do it every night just before getting into bed. It really works. My husband had pain and made his leg weak and lost feeling in it.
Sorry you were hurting so bad..☹️😞 I’ve got lower back pain, I have to lie down to get the pressure off the vertebrae…and sometimes I bring my legs up to my chest to help open up the vertebrae…it does help, so maybe if it happens again try what I do..good luck and hope you feel better soon..love watching your channel..😁👍🏻👍🏻

With the tarp covering your tent, you definitely kept yourself a lot warmer. With the tent being dry, it stays warmer than when it is wet.
Used to do lot of camping in Wales and Scotland,watching you makes me yearn to be young again.keep it up

Yeah over here in the US there's a phenomenon called thunder snow. Could be elsewhere as well. When we have huge snow storms that's when that occurs. Truly awesome
I found out I had compression Fractures in my T12 and T1 Verterbra. That pain is horrible, I could not even lie down on the bed to sleep or Sit in a chair for two weeks. I took Panadole and later Ibuprofen. I had Oxycodone or something prescribed, but refused to take it as it was not recommended for people with respiratory issues (I have asthma and emphysema. My Doctor did not have a clue about anything. I Hope you get better with your back issues. Take it easy, rest well and DON"T over extend yourself. I was simply helping move heavy objects at my sisters house.

You could slip some of those gel-heat packets for handwarming - one-click and they heat up. Not too big to carry either, but can delvier heat to a specific spot.
Good sport, mate. A smile , backache and all. I don’t think I’d enjoy the cold rain. We have plenty in New England…hard to shake off the chill even if dressed properly. Hearty appetite too.
Sorry your back is hurting, take time to heal and rest! We will be here when you are back! Might be worth trying trekking poles to help with your heavy pack take some stress off your back.
Will be doing a car camp with Victoria which should be ok then I’ll reassess in a week or from now

Hey good thanks. Yes I do like Ethiopian coffee I have tried many different growing regions from over there they are all delicious. I prefer lighter roast for filter and espresso

I'm quite a bit older than you and have had problems with my back. I like to train with a 60l pack with full kit and food for several days. It helps your back stay stronger. I fully understand the back situation. Worse thing is if the pain drops you onto your knees. Glad you had enough pain killers to get you down. Great video with warts an all.😫
Yeah I’m going todo some More targeted exercises to keep lower back area strong and just be more careful in general

Took some Tramadol in the morning also. I needed it. I’m still recovering but should be ok in a week or so. Cheers
@@AbelandVictoriayeah, I was thinking you'd need some tram. I had pain so bad one time I fell to the floor and couldn't move for a few hours until my wife got home to give me high strength Ibuprofen and tramadol. That happened on my birthday, wasn't my favorite. Get well soon! 🙏

I injured my back a couple of weeks ago. Very minor, but enough that it made doing anything a complete misery for several days. Good call taking ibuprofen with you!

It sucks. This was pretty bad I’m still suffering
I fell down a couple of stairs at the end of January and twisted my back badly. Today (9th March) is the most comfortable it has been since then - almost back to normal. Plenty of rest but try and stay mobile. I found paracetamol much more effective than ibuprofen. And a hot water bottle is the best thing ever! Don’t do too much! Hope it’s feeling better soon. ❤
