Please keep an eye on Tony and Anne for us❤
Hope you can check in on Tony I worry about him after losing Bruno we keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Tell Victoria she is missed hope she's progressing well with the baby
Yea really shocking news very sad. Victoria is doing well but she a bit sad she well will miss winter snow storms.
I really enjoy this camping adventure too how cool are these little cabins. That was good of you to give it up to the boys and their dad, hope Victoria is doing ok and Tony is in my thoughts such a tragedy first Bruce now Bruno I feel for them both. Keep up the great content I’m really enjoying it thank you oh and full dipping to fingertips is a must 🥰😂😂😂
I lost my brother and dog these last 5 months. This was like a last straw, and I bawled after seeing the video. Such a shock. Poor Bruno and poor Tony...
The subtitles always have a field day with the NZ accent. Adds to the enjoyment 😁😁
That was very nice of you to leave the shelter to the kids. Honestly I like the second one better it’s pretty cool.
Under the rock was pretty cool
That was a fantastic place to camp I loved it!❤ please say prayers along with us all for Tony and Anne❤
Both were really cool spots, food looked so tasty. The Dad would’ve been so happy to have some good firewood for the kids to enjoy and be warm.
Always with the good food making us all hungry 😁
Love your wood cutting/chopping therapy sessions!
Therapy for me also lol
I am from the UK - scones, jam and cream are the best! I didn't know about whipping the cream in a jar- a great idea, I am going to try it.
Easy and effective
Before my disability we intended on travelling NZ on our Harley especially to visit my grandfathers grave in Christchurch. Ah well so be it I can live on your content
H' there love your little shelter🤗😗
Awhh look your two legged dog with feathers friend made an appearance lol love this video ,,, looked sweet!
Such a neat place to camp out. So pretty and love the sound of rushing water👍🏻
Thanks again Abel for another great camp. Would love to see you back there in raining or snowing weather. I particularly liked the pans around the bush, you sure have some beautiful scenery over the ditch mate. Kindest regards to Victoria my friend, hope the pregnancy is progressing well. See you on your next adventure.
We have had endless sun. Makes me a bit sad should have had some snow by now. I have some more cool shelters I plan to visit later this year. Victoria is doing good. Thanks 😊
soothing waterfall sound :)
What a magical little spot. Will definitely stay over next time I’m up that way. Cheers 🤙🤙
Give our love to Victoria.Eagerly awaiting your next video
Loving the different style videos you’ve done
recently!! Congratulations to you both as well!! Hope all is okay. Keep posting the videos!! 😀👍
Thanks glad you like them
What a great place to camp. I can see why you enjoyed it so much. Thanks for showing it to us.
I walk past here all the time it’s about half way towards the tops where I camp often. Some rain would have been nice but no rain in New Zealand for ages
Great Video Abel!! The rock cave camps were incredible. What a cool camp to stay in. The oregano looked fantastic along with Victoria’s scones. You had to be super full not to have one of your pancakes!! Thanks for sharing another great video!!!
Yeah woke up early and just wasn’t feeling the need this time
Those were two great camping locations; thanks for sharing them in your video. And scones - my grandma made them & taught my mother, but sadly both are gone now. I loved scones but haven’t had them in about 30 years. Your video brought back a flood of memories- all good..!
Hey glad you enjoyed it. Make a batch of scones and indulge
Sincerely sorry to put a dampner on things but some may not know AB Campings pain at the loss of Bruno...so sad
Hob nobs are lovely but I prefer just the plain ones. What a lovely little cabin that was. At least that family got the wood you left. Another great video from you.
Always love your videos, but this was a FUN spot!
Yea pretty cool shelters
What an awesome place to camp ! Thanks for sharing this with us.
My pleasure
Best dinner, I will be making that for tomorrow's tea. 😊...Im hanging out patiently for snow camps though. 🗻❄️❄️☃️
Oh yes, my way of eating Scones for sure! The whipped cream must be sweetened, yes! I'm a Canadian with British grandparents. My husband and I were in New Zealand years ago for a month visiting friends and one thing they asked me to make was Scones with jam and sweetened whipped cream! I love your personality and your very interesting videos Abel.
Hi, my kid’s have been their dad when they were little, the kids loved it
Absolutely mesmerizing! The way you both harmonize with nature and create such a cozy shelter amidst the rocks is inspiring. Your attention to detail, from setting up camp to cooking, really brings the essence of adventure to life. Can’t wait to see where you’ll take us next! 🏕️🌟
Miss NZ DOC huts so much. At least I can watch from afar. Thank you.
Max polglaze built this one. Not really a doc hut they just slapped their sign on it
Wow, Able this camp was outstanding. Truly amazing. What an awesome place to spend the night!!!
Your wood splitting is work of art 🤣.. Cheers to you and Victoria
Hi Abel I just Love that place were you are staying in
hope there’s more like this one in the future in video 😊
Such a fantastic location for that cabin! Your final place tucked under the rock was the best! Enjoyed this video very much. Have a great weekend. ATB.
Another great video! It is a very unique and beautiful location for a cabin. And under a large rock. These two cabin videos were very interesting and entertaining. The severe storm videos are awesome. I look forward to your snow videos.
Hey thanks. Yeah I’m very very much looking forward to the snow. Rest assured I’ll be there soon as it snows
Thanks for the video…Firewood King
No worries

That dinner looked amazing!
It was pretty nice
Found your channel when it was recommended to me [It was a recent cabin one]. I've started working my way thru your videos and just gotta say I love your energy and how upbeat you get despite the conditions you find yourself in sometimes. Really wholesome content man, love it
Cool thanks. Glad your enjoying it.
Hi Abel what Gorgeous Awesome beautiful Amazing Scenery 😊
Hi, Just love your program Abel. Keep it up very inspiring indeed ! Makes me want to get out and do it again !

A good video and also amazing place to camp ,I love camping ,it's bring peace and I love the sound of nature 😊
One of your best video.
That’s awesome!
Hello Abel, that was a great camping site
It is amazing at that campsite. Great choice!
Food looks lush
Wicker magnet
I agree Abel it seems like your pioneering GREAT VIDEO
Wow! I really like these little huts. I have so many questions. Who mains the upkeep of them? How do they get to the area with the materials to build them? That was vey kind of you to allow the Father and his two sons to stay. Give my love to Victoria. Prayers she feels better and regains her joy.
Wow! Cool hut. Great vid.
This to me is your best so far / And no you shouldn't have gone to the second spot first as you were not to know others would turn up , You were very considerate to the family so i hope they appreciated the effort of uprooting yourself - Both spots were amazing and spotting that duck as you said is so rare , this was all meant to play out as it did
Thanks heaps for another hut camp, and a very interesting one, hope to see you there in a snow storm one day! Also looking forward to seeing more huts! :D
I’m waiting for the snow to come hopefully soon
I really enjoyed this camp
sense 2024 wickers have been noted that they have been extinct for 50 years. alone comes a man (Abel) and wickers are everywhere. good show
What a cool camp location! I'll be honest, I didn't know that cream would whip in a jar like that.
Yeah unique shelters that are pretty easy to access. I’m going to have todo some brownie and whipped cream
I didn’t know you could whip cream like that either. Thank you
You seem so happy Abel .That was a wonderful camp .Thankyou for sharing. Love to Victoria .
Great video as always. Please check on Tony. My heart breaks for him, Ann and Brandon. 😢💔
Love u brother..❤❤
Love that hut, it brings back happy memories of tramping trips when the kids were young. Your channel is so popular now, your obviously nailing the content to keep fellow outdoor enthusiasts watching. Good on ya
It’s a nice spot. Always walking past it so nice to hang around for a bit. Ballon hut in snowstorm would be fun or the old tent camp in cobb I like that old thing. Cheers
Big 👍🏻my friend. Those scones looked fantastic especially with that maple whip cream. Those camp sites were cool👍🏻💛🙏🏻🇺🇸
Great camp❤really enjoyed it. My Best to both you and Victoria. Also prayers 🙏 for Tony and Anne
Awesome vid, bro
great location
Wow,thats a very unique place to camp...loved it
always jam first!
Awesome video you got some pretty cool campgrounds there 😊makes me want to visit New Zealand 🇳🇿❤get a different experience then in the United States 🇺🇸 I’m guessing you don’t have bears 🐻 we do here in Colorado! Keep up the awesome videos and thanks for sharing your adventures with us
No bear no dangerous animals
Man us kiwis grew up on scones and jam.
We would love to stay there. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video! What a location.
Thanks
Upper Gridiron Hut, Tasman region.
Man, what a cool place! I wish the US did cool places like that. We don't get cool huts like that. At least not near me
This one is rather special. Built before government started interfering
Great video. I ordered some of your coffee filters. Can’t wait to try them. All best to you and Victoria
Yeah they are a great way to brew when out in the bush
I am from the UK London coming into our summer soon, But they forecast thunderstorms here next week don't like them, Don't mind the rain though,
I could live there!
A more sunny spot would be more ideal
Ha! I just commented on another of your videos if you’d carry an ax for the wood chopping. Interesting cabin and great video.
Where are you, it looks awesome. Hope V is doing well, If you chat to Tony, 😢 we mourn with him, hope he's alright,❤❤❤❤❤
Hi just watched your video very interesting. I m 😊a
Awesome place. So cozy. Have you tried Sprig and Fern's new Harvest Pilsner? It reminds me of that Renaissance Hazy. So drinkable and yummy!! Nice one.
Haven’t had any sprig and fern in awhile might give some a go. I try not to have drinks on camp but I give in often
@@AbelandVictoria yeah, I hear ya, it's usually my detoxing time when I go tramping! Ha ha.
Very good of you to give up upper Gridiron hut but as it was a three bunker and there were four of you, that many people in such a small hut would cramp your video style, so understand you moving onto the overhang rock shelter. It’s Encouraging to see the views given you haven’t used your normal algorithm words in your title, hope yet for us minnow creators. I really enjoyed this one Abel, hope to see more places like this. 👋
Lol wtf is an algorithm word
@@AbelandVictoriaHeavy, Rain, Storm - but you’re messing with me, you’re smart and already knew that 😂
@@OutdoorsmanDave as far as I am aware TH-cam algorithm is just a reflection of audience interest designed to maximise googles profits. Words in a title mean little hardly any views come from search and a video will not be recommended on home page if it sucks.
@@AbelandVictoria if you really believe that then test it, don’t use any of those three words on your next five videos, get creative and choose different words and compare your views. ☺️ Did the father & sons know who you were?
@@OutdoorsmanDave I camp in rain or snow or storms in a tent. Simple title not bs clickbait. This isn’t a matter of belief and I have zero interest in making up random titles
Might be an obvious question but where does the water come from for the tap? I imagine from a spring water source? Great video.
Might as well call the Channel just Abel lately
Or I could just delete it all lol
Another sneaky weka making sure it gets on camera.
No wickers this week 😢
Really beautiful camp site though!
Lol if u look closely you will find one
Yup seen one when he was inside stacking wood. Watch open door. Sneak buggers they are
Bạn thật tuyệt vơi
Kia ora koutou. Whereabouts is the hut situated?
Great video, out of interest what do you do if others turn up to stay the night. Would you just stop filming and go on another trip for TH-cam? Cheers
How heavy would you say your pack is on average? I know it is different going than coming, just curious.
where abouts do you get those coffee sachets? Great video.
Order them online fill them with my own coffee and seal them up.
Good to go
@@AbelandVictoria Thank you
whicker sighting at the 6:00 mark out the door
No wekas!
There's a sneaky one just outside the door at 6:00... Instead of "Where's Wally", it's "Where's Weka".
Did that Weka at 5:42 and 6:00 end up in the dinner too? We wont tell on you but I bet they are greasy, tough and gamey. You said it was "chicken", okay...😉
Lol
What happens if others also turn up to use the cabin ? Is it first come, first served ?
Some are bookable some are not. This one is first come first serve.
Scones with jam and cream where do you think you are at Cornwall Britain 🇬🇧
Under my rock
Who's that walking by at 6:00 ?
Another great video thank you. The cabin looked ace as did your eventual sleeping place.
Is there a road above that was making the background noise or was that the wind?
River sounds
