Love the song but the meaning is tragic and dark about war killing and what it does tho those who serve and I think elements of then suffering afterwards with PTSD and mental issues ... And it makes me live it more
Ride The Lightning is the best Metallica album. The last recorded with orginal bass player, CLiff Burton. Entire album must be listened in one sitting. It is required listening, my friends! Cheers
Metallica was my introduction to thrash metal and while it is not what I listen to mostly it is kind of a guilty pleasure. Have to go listen to Master of Puppets and Reign in Blood now.
