A huge part of One Piece is created/found family. Easy examples are the Straw Hat crew themselves, all coming together from tragic pasts to form a family; Chopper and Hiriluk; Luffy not even knowing his dad, being raised by Garp, but then choosing to follow and look up to Shanks; Zoro's parents not even being revealed in the story, but Koshiro being his father figure; Franky's parents just being random pirates and Tom being his father figure; Nami's birth parents not being mentioned but Nojiko being her sister and Belemere being her mom; Sanji's father being extremely powerful, but Zeff being the one Sanji sees as his true father; Robin's mom being a big deal and her dad not shown, but her mom always being gone so Robin's first true family has been the Straw Hats I think it would downgrade that strong message if it turns out both Luffy and Robin's other parents are a major point in the story Regarding Robin's dad, and Luffy's mom, and how he said we have examples of the Straw Hats' parents being a big deal, I would disagree. I would say the trend is that one of their parents is important and the other seems to be a pretty regular person. The sanji example: it was his dad, Judge, that was important and had power, his mom was a pretty regular person. Usopp example: his dad, Yasopp, is important, his mom was just a regular person. Chopper's adoptive dad Hiriluk was the only parent involved and a big deal. As far as we know Robin's mom was a big deal and not her dad. As far as we know Luffy's dad is a big deal and his mom isn't. Even with Ace, was dad was ROGER for god's sake!! And his mom was a regular person, who happened to bear the Will of D. I'm sure they made plenty of discoveries and advancements that REALLY helped the World Government. They have Vegapunk for technology, but that seems to be all hes focused on. The scholars at Ohara studied any and everything else probably. The historians were just a branch, and the people who wanted to study the Void Century were a tiny branch within the branch of historians. Getting rid of all of them, along with the tree of knowledge really hurt the World Government as well

These are definitely some of your best videos, and you should consider doing something no other OP content creator is doing, and make videos on the references and historical details that Oda uses. The stuff about the tree and Geo daddy was super intriguing and it shows how much Oda really thought everything out. You're perfect for that kinda thing! Given that the earth is not perfectly spherical and that he only had a comparably short distance to work with plus likely some rather inprecise measurements to start off with, getting within 10% of the correct answer is amazing.

What if, when the World Government Buster Calls an island, instead of just quaranteeing it off, they also make it another minor Marines Headquarters. I think that would be a lot more effective in keeping people off of it since it would be packed with Marine soldiers.

Why not just make everyone's parents who didn't have a ton of backstory be scholars!? Franky's parents weren't just pirates, they were scholars who needed to ditch their son so he could avoid the WG's wrath (could've stood to not leave him in an area that's super close to a major WG facility...). Usopp's mom was a scholar before settling down with Yasopp. Sanji's mom was probably a scholar before meeting his dad. Brooke might have Oharan ancestry. Chopper might be descended from Oharan deer. Nami's birth parents could've been scholars.
If there are any survivors we might get the odd one with revolutionary army but the majority probably won't be seen until the epilogue of the story when Robin begins the process of rebuilding Ohara to tell the world the truth about the void century and the crimes of the world government. I think Robin's father is dead but may have an unrevealed role in the story. If Rodger didn't tell Whitebeard directly about the value of the Poneglyphs he would need someone to do it for him (I believe Whitebeard/Marco has it and that is what Nekomamushi has been told to pass onto Luffy). The neatest option is that it was Robin's father who was present when Whitebeard staked his claim to Fishman Island. He then read the Poneglyph and told Whitebeard it needed to be hidden.
Tekking: Everyone gets one from Kuzan. Me: Wants detailed accounts of Kuzan previously saving everyone else on Ohara in the past (not necessarily all at once).
Legend has it that before Ohara was destroyed by the buster call Vegapunk was able to upload all the contents of the Library of Ohara onto the world wide den-den mushi network. Vegapunk then left all of this knowledge in the capable hands of Artur-sama.
Well were STILL in Wano so I hesitate to make a video about it until the end of the arc. I feel like coming up in the final battle were going to get a a full map of Onigashima and there are still other regions (like Kibi for example) that may get expanded upon more. After the arc ends. I'll be making a video on it for sure
Tekking I honestly would put money on Luffy making O’Hara one of his protected islands due to it being Robin’s home along with Usopp and nami’s respective home islands and the whole thing about there possibly being other scholars from O’Hara being off the island when the island got destroyed reminded me of how vegeta, Nappa, Goku, raditz, broly, and broly’s father were off planet when Frieza destroyed it
Fun fact: There is a tree in the real world that is nearly 5,000 years old. Methuselah is a bristlecone pine tree in California's White Mountain range which is estimated to be around 4,700 years old. There was another bristlecone pine tree that was even older but was cut down. I can't see any direct influence these trees had on the Great Tree of Knowledge, but still, it's a little mind-blowing to know that a tree being that old isn't pure fantasy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Oda revealed some Oharan refugee scholars hiding/being protected by the revolutionary army. Seems like something that they would want to do.
imagine that the seemingly useless historical facts Robin told Crocodile turn out to be relevant factors for understanding the conflict of the void century XD and yeah, the tragedy of Ohara is, to me at least, still on of the most impactful parts of One Piece, since it goes beyond Robins personal tragic backstory and makes clear the position and role of the World Government, as well as showing this loss of knowledge, which breaks my heart every time.
I dont think everyone has to have inportant parents just because they are main characters. Luffys mom could be a random girl from the town Dragon visited and had fun times with her then left. That is a bit more realistic in my opinion than her being someone powerful and important who never really contacted her son. (actually I dont know, did Luffy ever talk about his family apart from the oney that were shown? not reall his style...) Also a quick tought: maybe because his mother wasnt that great of a mother he was never really interesten in who his father was either. For him blood isnt that inportant. Also for Robin, her father might not be an inportant person, just because she is inportant for the story.

Use Oars the "island puller" to move the 6 islands that 'orbit' and point to Laugh Tale (the kingdom of WANO) to pull them together for protection to wait for the next Joyboy. Tekking I honestly would put money on Luffy making O’Hara one of his protected islands due to it being Robin’s home along with Usopp and nami’s respective home islands and the whole thing about there possibly being other scholars from O’Hara being off the island when the island got destroyed reminded me of how vegeta, Nappa, Goku, raditz, broly, and broly’s father were off planet when Frieza destroyed it

Fun fact: There is a tree in the real world that is nearly 5,000 years old. Methuselah is a bristlecone pine tree in California's White Mountain range which is estimated to be around 4,700 years old. There was another bristlecone pine tree that was even older but was cut down. I can't see any direct influence these trees had on the Great Tree of Knowledge, but still, it's a little mind-blowing to know that a tree being that old isn't pure fantasy.

imagine that the seemingly useless historical facts Robin told Crocodile turn out to be relevant factors for understanding the conflict of the void century XD
and yeah, the tragedy of Ohara is, to me at least, still on of the most impactful parts of One Piece, since it goes beyond Robins personal tragic backstory and makes clear the position and role of the World Government, as well as showing this loss of knowledge, which breaks my heart every time.
I dont think everyone has to have inportant parents just because they are main characters. Luffys mom could be a random girl from the town Dragon visited and had fun times with her then left. That is a bit more realistic in my opinion than her being someone powerful and important who never really contacted her son. (actually I dont know, did Luffy ever talk about his family apart from the oney that were shown? not reall his style...)
Also a quick tought: maybe because his mother wasnt that great of a mother he was never really interesten in who his father was either. For him blood isnt that inportant.
Also for Robin, her father might not be an inportant person, just because she is inportant for the story.

Use Oars the "island puller" to move the 6 islands that 'orbit' and point to Laugh Tale (the kingdom of WANO) to pull them together for protection to wait for the next Joyboy. Just like the Minks and Fishmen. The samurai had to be hidden.
