here is what i think - the road poneglyph that bigmom has is the fishman one . Kaido has the wano Poneglyph , minks have the one at Zoe . onlt race left is Giants = Elbaf . so the reason why non of the emperors were able to be the pirate king is bcz the last Poneglyph is at Elbaf . as was stated in Whole Cake ark by Lola sister , Elbaf has the stronges army of giants in the world and bigmom also said that if she had the army of Elbaf and lola married the prince she would have defeated all the Yonko and Became the Pirate King .

I'd like to imagine the way the Bartolameo vs. Shanks situation went down would be Shanks using conquerers haki to knock out the entire Barto Club, seeing the Straw Hat jolly roger, questioning Barto, finding out about Luffy's exploits, partying with the Barto Club and then finally sending them on their way to terrorize Black Beard or Kaido's territory instead, probably giving them intel on easy targets for them to take out

I think this was teasing the advanced armament haki, just like how skypia teased observation haki.

I think that an advanced form of Conqueror's haki would be "mind control". Overpowering another persons will and making them do what the user wants. Conquerors had followers so this could be an ability to make subordinates. One example could be how Roger convinced Garp to watch after Ace. His eyes in that scene were the same as the others when they use conquerors haki and he acted as if he knew Garp would do it, not being nervous in the slightest.
There's definitely an aspect of asserting your will over others, but I think that's more in a sense of charisma than outright mind control. Roger knew Garp would do it because they've had a back and forth for much of their careers and he knows Garp well. Luffy probably won't have kids, but if he did, I'm pretty sure he'd trust them with Smoker or Koby without batting an eye.

Funny thing about Luffy from the perspective of the scrub pirates/sailors/marines of the setting. You gotta remember that in the Paradise portion of the Grandline the first thing most people would see coming into the region from the Reverse Mountain is Laboon and the Strawhats' Jolly Roger on his snout, and the last island that they reach, if they are badass enough, to cross into the New World, is Fishman Island, again with the Strawhat Flag. I'd say that after the news of Luffy being named as the Fifth Emperor and getting a massive Grand Fleet, some people would have immediately started thinking that Luffy and the Strawhats were laying their claim on the Paradise as they were building up to take on the Emperors from the moment they entered the Grand Line. Which is kinda crazy but makes sense when you think about all the stuff they got involved in, which essentially could be seen as the Strawhats saying, "Yo WG? You and your Warlords ain't nothing. Screw you and your Celestial Dragons. Try and take us out, we finna come back stronger than ever!" We as the readers know otherwise, but holy hell the Strawhats would be a scary crew of insane rookies led by a mad lad to end all mad lads, whose family included the Marine Hero Garp and his brother Ace, who was the only son of Gol D. Roger.
with luffies friendship with momo and the scabberts its highly likely that after the wano arc is done wano will anounce it self as teratory of luffy and with a land as wano under luffies belt its highly likely he might be taken serious as a full fledged emperor

Tubby in the beginning I remember shanks and them killing the bandits and making some comment about how pirates kill without hesitation or something also he lopped off kids arm. I’m not saying he’s a bad guy but he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and probably enjoys it

Strawhats vs Shanks davy back fight for the last Road Poneglyph. 3. After Luffy's crew barely wins and they are about to start a party with the red hair pirates when Blackbeard shows up. 4. the strawhats are too weak to fight so the red hair pirates force fluffy and crew to leave somehow while they hold black beard off. (The stawhats do get a rubbing of the Poneglyph) 5. we see just how badass shanks is when he and his crew have a serious fight aginst 2 yonko level crews back to back. (The strawhats and then the Blackbeard pirates) 6. Shanks would have won despite all the odds but then is killed when blackbeard pulls a stunt/dirty trick. 7. Blackbeard defeats the red hair pirates and gets their stuff. The world Gov finally takes Blackbeard seriously. 7. it is now a race to Laugh Tail where the Strawhats will have to fight blackbeard and the marines for the One Piece.

Oh about yonko protection on Elbaf, yeah that's possible I think. Because LinLin grew up to be such a fearsome pirate, if she decided to occupy Elbaf, the giants definitely wouldn't mind to get some help.
Shanks’ arc - Luffy and shanks v kidd and blackbeard. (Hear me out) Kidd wants revenge on shanks for his arm. Blackbeard wants to destroy the world, so taking out the freindliest yonko would create more chaos. Kidd and Blackbeard make the plan and go to double team Shanks. Strawhats somehow catch wind of it and go to help Shanks. And Law (if he is still with the strawhats at this point) has to pick a side. And the situation will appear very stacked against the strawhats so Law’s tacticle mind will keep his choice ambiguous but he knows that one of the two remaining emperors has to fall, an likewise the supernova backing them. (Whatcha think?)
I could see Luffy fighting the other Yonko and for Shanks, Luffy helps him out. Maybe he has to prove himself against someone, maybe even Blackbeard's forces. Not necessarily Blackbeard himself. At the end they do some sort of competition. Afterwards, he goes after Blackbeard himself.

Didn't Bartholomeo and the rest of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet take over territories in the Cover Story? If they all did this, Luffy would have quite a lot of territories. This is the Cover Story: "The Story of the Self Proclaimed Straw Hat Grand Fleet"
There is also the "The Great Serpent Soaked In Blood" mentioned on Little Garden, which might be related or not to Shanks and/or the Red Force, but it's most likely just the Red Line

when they were fighting the funk brothers, the younger funk had "a strong body" & it even broke an axe (maybe like big mom's strong body?) & then Sai used the impact fist thingy & it worked in hurting him.
I think this was teasing the advanced armament haki, just like how skypia teased observation haki.
Rayleigh used the special armament haki all the way back on Sabaody, during the slave auction. The eight impact fist might just be a similar technique.

Not saying that Shanks will 100% survive, but I think he would be the last person to be killed by Blackbeard. Unless he has to sacrifice himself to save his friends like Whitebeard did.
I hope shanks is different compared to the other yonkou.. the other yonkou prefer not to kill people, even kaido dont do that, they prefer people submitted or join them, i hope shanks dont do that, and he preferred to kill people that dare to fight him, and thats why kidd lost his hand because shanks actually want to kill him but kidd escape..
I think that an advanced form of Conqueror's haki would be "mind control". Overpowering another persons will and making them do what the user wants. Conquerors had followers so this could be an ability to make subordinates. One example could be how Roger convinced Garp to watch after Ace. His eyes in that scene were the same as the others when they use conquerors haki and he acted as if he knew Garp would do it, not being nervous in the slightest.
There's definitely an aspect of asserting your will over others, but I think that's more in a sense of charisma than outright mind control. Roger knew Garp would do it because they've had a back and forth for much of their careers and he knows Garp well.
Luffy probably won't have kids, but if he did, I'm pretty sure he'd trust them with Smoker or Koby without batting an eye.

Funny thing about Luffy from the perspective of the scrub pirates/sailors/marines of the setting. You gotta remember that in the Paradise portion of the Grandline the first thing most people would see coming into the region from the Reverse Mountain is Laboon and the Strawhats' Jolly Roger on his snout, and the last island that they reach, if they are badass enough, to cross into the New World, is Fishman Island, again with the Strawhat Flag. I'd say that after the news of Luffy being named as the Fifth Emperor and getting a massive Grand Fleet, some people would have immediately started thinking that Luffy and the Strawhats were laying their claim on the Paradise as they were building up to take on the Emperors from the moment they entered the Grand Line. Which is kinda crazy but makes sense when you think about all the stuff they got involved in, which essentially could be seen as the Strawhats saying, "Yo WG? You and your Warlords ain't nothing. Screw you and your Celestial Dragons. Try and take us out, we finna come back stronger than ever!" We as the readers know otherwise, but holy hell the Strawhats would be a scary crew of insane rookies led by a mad lad to end all mad lads, whose family included the Marine Hero Garp and his brother Ace, who was the only son of Gol D. Roger.

Shanks’ arc - Luffy and shanks v kidd and blackbeard. (Hear me out)
Kidd wants revenge on shanks for his arm. Blackbeard wants to destroy the world, so taking out the freindliest yonko would create more chaos. Kidd and Blackbeard make the plan and go to double team Shanks. Strawhats somehow catch wind of it and go to help Shanks. And Law (if he is still with the strawhats at this point) has to pick a side. And the situation will appear very stacked against the strawhats so Law’s tacticle mind will keep his choice ambiguous but he knows that one of the two remaining emperors has to fall, an likewise the supernova backing them.

I could see Luffy fighting the other Yonko and for Shanks, Luffy helps him out. Maybe he has to prove himself against someone, maybe even Blackbeard's forces. Not necessarily Blackbeard himself. At the end they do some sort of competition. Afterwards, he goes after Blackbeard himself.
