if you make the attic a bedroom for a werewolf, you should give them access to the roof so they can howl at the moon.
That's absolutely perfect. A house with a werewolf in it definitely needs rooftop access for howling at the moon!

It kinda makes sense actually to use the windowless attic room for Wanda when the Werewolf moves in so they can then have Wanda's old room with the windows, then you can make an open baloney type thing from the tower in her room for howling at the moon purposes.

hey simsie! if you bind cosmo as A familliar then he will occasionally give props to the spellcaster when spells are learned, cast, or practiced, you can also get him to look for ingredients for potions, it means that cosmo, will in fact. be able to talk : D

@@katanah3195 haven't tested this, but someone said that yes you can bind pets that have been added through CAS, but it doesn't work for pets adopted through gameplay
@@marleythewizard I've adopted pets for my legacy family, and one of the spellcasters had no issue binding the family cat as a familiar. He even bound the cat's ghost as his familiar after she died of old age.

A bowling league for occults? LOL!! Now I want someone to build an occult bowling alley! Teams like “Hurling Howlers”, “Space Cadets”, “Bone Daddies”, and “Protopins”. The “Striking Servos” are a team of robots. The spellcasters keep cheating by hexing the balls. It could totally be a community lot. Can we bowl in the sims?

I don’t know if this has been done, but I feel a build challenge where every room is a different occult
I don’t know if a ghost is an occult but I feel they could also be included because they aren’t humans, aliens too
Imagine that in The Sims 3, where every pack introduced a new occult. (Although, when are they called that in-game? My copy calls them "supernaturals".)
That would be awesome there are a lot of options for occults vampire, spellcaster, mermaid, alien, ghost, plantsim, servo, skeleton and werewolf!
As someone who has zero packs and knows nothing about occult sims, I agree! There could (maybe) be an interesting legacy challenge in there too somewhere, where every generation has to learn about and/or become a different occult type
counting Plant Sims, and the upcoming werewolves, that's only a 6 room house, you could stretch it to 7 if you did a room for human also, since you have to start as a Human in MOST cases. Humans can't become Aliens, after all XD

There's a cheat called "casclockspeed [0-10]" that stops your sims moving. 0 is paused, 10 is moving (really really fast).
Edit: 1 is the default speed/normal movement.

I also found a mod that prevented movements from sims or pets. Been using it for years.

it’s probably such a little thing but as someone who uses they/them pronouns the fact that simsie uses sterlings pronouns properly and without any hesitation makes me SO happy, i couldn’t stop thinking abt it the entire video. thank you so much

Maybe cosmos bedroom was the basement, but obviously he’s a cat now so Wanda claimed the basement and now that’s her bedroom lol

Secretly Wanda loved his bedroom so she decided to take it when he can’t stop her from doing so
i rather the attic have been his bedroom but he hated people barging in so he sealed it up for privacy and only poofed up there until he turned into a cat. That way when she adds a werewolf they reopen access to Cosmo's old room, clean out the cobwebs and now Cosmo has a grudge against the werewolf for taking over his old room.
@@Stardusk123 I was thinking, if the windowless basement is Wanda's, than the windowless basement must be Cosmo's! But I understand that it's crazy hard to fit stairs, since cats can't climb ladders. And as a cat, Cosmo probably likes sun now.
Maybe once the werewolf pack comes out she can do a wheel of doom occult let’s play!

I think it’d be interesting to build a starter home for every occult sim. Like they all live in the magic realm or the vampire one, they all live in this house and have to coexist!

In CAS the cheat "casclockspeed 0" is your friends.
It makes it so the sims won't move at all in CAS. Really nice with Occult Sims

Yeah! And access to a rooftop garden - the wolf and the spellcaster are always arguing over it, the wolf wants somewhere to howl at the moon and the spellcaster wants to grow their plants there!
At this point i feel like Simsie is obsessively in love with vampires 😂

Sterling looks genuinely so cool. Their mustache and hair are just *chefs kiss * but combined with the white eyes and medium-dark skin tone?? Gorgeous
When sterling levels up they'll be able to teleport with magic, so that top level doesn't even need stairs. And I love not having a gate so no one can just end up in the backyard of a build. It helps me keep track of who is on the lot
it could also have been Cosmo's room and he sealed it up for privacy because people kept bugging him. So hed poof up there with his vampire powers until he was turned into a cat. Then if theres a werewolf moving in they take over his old room and Cosmo has a grudge against them, which would even tie into the cat vs dog trope. Then Sterling could share his love of baking with the werewolf via meat pies and sheppards pies and oven cooked chicken. Maybe Wanda and the werewolf argue about technology and the werewolf is all about tech, being like a Gen Z kid.
hear me out… Sterling tries to change Cosmo back, all goes wrong (again) and he ends up somewhere in between - a werewolf 👀

Fun Sins 4 fact: did you know that the magician can clean just about everything with the scrubado spell? The have to be taught it by the practical magic mentor, but that litter box would have been no match against that spell! 😍👍🏾🧙🏾♂️

The warewolf could be pro-technology and have a love hate friendship with Wanda. Just an Idea.
what if the attic was Cosmos old room and the werewolf took it over and now Cosmo has a grudge against the werewolf, itd also make sense because the cats vs dog trope. It'd be funny if sterling was the only one who actually liked the werewolf though XD theyd probablly share the love of baking, Sterling could make her meat pies and baked dishes like sheppards pie.

i think that maybe part of the reason wanda and sterling are so different about how openly magical they are might be because they live in glimmerbrook and not forgotten hollow. idk if there would be tension btwn spellcasters and vampires like the new werewolves lore

Maybe Cosmo used to have Wanda's bedroom or the basement, and when he got turned into a cat Wanda stole his room. I'd love to see some gameplay with these guys and a werewolf friend :))
would it be setting myself up for disappointment if i got hyped about more occult stuff in Simsie's let's plays and builds and stuff? because i'm craving it, ngl. in my experience, vampires with the high maintenance trait has the kind of chaotic energy that could end up complimenting her piranha pond and fire toilet pretty well..
I used the freebuild cheat to build my own realm of magic school on that lot. So much better and fits great in my gameplay of desperate housewives who accidentally summon a vampire

I think this is the most exciting development since I’ve been subscribed! I’m a huge occults fan irl as a pagan witch but in the sims as well and I’m so happy simsie likes them a bit more because not many simmers I follow enjoy occults.
The duality between “The vampire is so secretive, you would never know from her bedroom”/the secret door to the underground coffin and the fact that she’ll just go into a bar and suck the plasma out of someone in front of a whole crowd of people and then transform into a bat and teleport away lol
This is a very beautiful building! I would love to see you try out more older/historical builds!

I LOVE THIS!! The storyline is very unique and cool in my eyes. I also really like how i normally don’t like older looking houses but THIS is so pretty, cool and just has something in it that i really like. 🌀

I have a similar household in my game. It's a vampire, a mermaid, and a spellcaster rooming together in an old haunted house. Except they all kind of hate each other haha.
It's genuinely my favorite household to play with though, these sims have developed so much personality over time and they're so fun to play around with! While I probably won't add a werewolf to the house, I'll definitely introduce one to them once the pack comes out!

Because the attic has no windows and is right above wanda's bedroom, you can put her coffin up there and give the werewolf a really cool basement room, especially since the werewolves are going to have a cool underground thing in their pack, it would make sense! I love this build and I can't wait to see you play with occults more!!

My headcanon is that Sterling has a pet cowplant and is kinda obsessed by them
The storyline and outfits are amazing! Love this so much. Every single time when I am trying to build something with unusual decorations or some sort of strange-coloured wallpapers I just like: no, I can't and start making lovely houses with base game decorations and blue walls)
I would honestly love to make a comic or something out of these sims and this storyline... kind of fell in love with them and would love to draw them at some point
supernatural storylines are my favorite way to play ngl I just find it more fun and also it matches my aesthetic too so I just,,,really vibe with it lol and you can make such cool builds for them!!!! anyway glad you're finally getting onboard with the occults

Little bit of Lore for when/if you add a warewolf to this household! Cosmo was like at the vets or at home sick when the warewolf joined the bowling team/club comes home and is absolutely appaled like although he sort of is human just in cat form he has a little kitty instinct to hate this wolf and is so flabberghasted that the other two just like fully accepted them in without a second thought! And nothing malicious like they dont have to fight or anything they're just super sarcastic towards one another and kind of like a love/hate bromance! I really wish I had all the packs I love this storytelling stuff :D

Love your vids! I wanted to suggest the stand still cas mod by Shimrod101 and Shooksims, the sims will only blink, and make very tiny facial movements, not very often, and they will not move there head, or do poses.
When you make the werewolf you could make the roof glass, so then the werewolf would have full access to the full moon when it comes out :D
I’m so excited for werewolves tbh, in Sims 3 I used to make little packs. And I’m glad they have included some toddler and child interactions! Toddlers eating their toys and chewing on furniture was so cute!
It was soo cute how much the werewolf toddlers acted like puppies! And I loved the vamp tots biting the necks of teddy bears...
I love the idea of having the werewolf hidden away in the attic space! Because you could make it so that there’s access for the werewolf to obsessively view the moon AND the werewolf wouldn’t want to mess up the whole house when they’re changing so they’d want to be able to sequester themselves in an area that is completely separate!

I love the lore! I think occult Sims are good inspiration for creative storylines. They can have supernatural events and still have regular Sims drama, like cheating and murder lol.
I'm sure this has been suggested already, but MAYBE Sterling finds another spell to turn Cosmo back into their previous form. BUT it makes them a Werewolf (Werecat for story's sake) instead.

OK SIMSIE HEAR ME OUT: what if the bowling league sought out GREG for their bowling league...
There's a cheat to stop sims moving in CAS (or slow them down).
You need to have testingcheats on, and then when you're in CAS enter the cheat casclockspeed 0 to make them stop moving. Use casclockspeed 10 to put them back to normal speed. You can also use 1-9 to slow them down but still have the sims move :)

I may suggest you switch Wanda's coffin to the attic, with a ladder to it from her own room, and move the werewolf to the basement (and make it bigger) like in a run down den, so it won't intefiere with the old luxury style of the rest of the house. Also 'cause in my mind werewolves should be chained in every moonlight so they won't attack vampires :v

does anyone else feel like the werewolf pack so far and many others could just be so much more. i appreciate everything we have and their efforts to make things better in the game, create diversity, and updates etc but i feel like there has been major loss of potential throughout the game

I’m really trying to like occult sims cause I feel like I just don’t use those packs (despite having them all) but I think I’m secretly bitter that they don’t spend more time making more “real life” packs like having strollers or making babies functional
Hear me out, Sylver casts another spell on Cosmo to turn him back, but something goes wrong and Cosmo turns into werewolf
THIS IS AN AMAZING IDEA
The rectangular windows glass decor changes in different swatches. It can be really beautiful to stack them for taller walls. I believe they also get decorstive side pueces on diagonal walls. The curved window also places well with them and you can create huge windows.
spellcaster’s cas animations are forever the bane of my existence 😭 they’re so much worse than the normal idles and it feels like they do them every three seconds 💔
also the twin’s backstories with turning cosmo into a cat is so cool !! it reminds me of magica and poe de spell from the original ducktales + the reboot 🫶

I always feel better when simsie tells us that she does try and limit packs in her builds, mainly because I can relate to not being able to afford all the fancy packs and kits and stuff
