This is hands down my favorite by them and was while growing up, that intro, the overall atmosphere, etc, pure perfection (the whole album as well). Still get goosebumps with the “I will avenge the death of a thousand burning children” line. Always wanted a more in depth interpretation of this track specifically. Not sure if you’ll see this, but would be great to get one on Queen of Winter Throned and Nocturnal Supremacy if you haven’t already. Cheers.

This song is a masterpiece! The composition is so different, not entirely following the black metal spectre, the drumming is very clean and transforms the song, making it so easy to listen. The organ, in tune with Dani's vocals, gives the song it sinister vibe.

I was one of those that requested this one. Thank you for doing this! I know how many other great options there are.
I'm able to grasp the overall meanings of their songs well but you really help fill in some details and add context and background information.
If you want more satanic songs, those next 2 are great choices and I'd add Queen of Winter Throned. The last 2 lyrics are literally, "Satanic tyranny!"
I'd like to recommend another song from another band as well: Gallowbraid - Ashen Eidolon. It's not satanic, just excellent. Lol
P.S. - I love seeing that you actually enjoy the music yourself as well.
I felt I should add that anything from The Principle of Evil Made Flesh or Vempire would be excellent choices. The Rape and Ruin of Angels (Hosannas in Extremis)

"Beast Of Extermination" is absolutely the most Satanic Cradle song. I play this on repeat during my birthday. Although I do understand your point from a Theological perspective. The perfect analogy still remains.

What an amazing song and analysis! I loved how you broke down Satanism - indeed, reading about it in my teen years, I was pretty surprised to learn that it wasn't about worshipping Satan as an entity, but more about going against the limitations imposed by Christianity (and also seeing Satan as an archetype that people could follow, like William Blake). I love how the narrator ties in his hatred of God as a principle and also his personal loss.

Is it too early to suggest "Lord Abortion" as the next review? I wonder what do you feel about the song, considering the disturbing lyric content.
Ah yes, Lord Abortion is a hard-hitting one. It took me a long time and MANY replays, as a teen, to even understand the title (the fact that it's meant to be read as a name), let alone the connection between it and the rest of the lyrics XD But it's a great one!
