  • With Caleb Love's decision to stay (and Joson Sanon's flip to ASU), the 2024-25 Arizona men's basketball roster is nearly complete. We get an early outlook on the Wildcats' upcoming season with former Arizona guard and FOX Sports analyst Matt Muehlebach, who also took time to remember his friend and colleague Bill Walton. Plus, our thoughts on the baseball team's early exit, Arizona football's bowl prospects, and our favorite memories from the 2016-17 season of Arizona athletics.

Muehlebach seems to be much higher on next year’s prospects than the two hosts. I agree with him.

I'm not sold on the thought that Arizona Football will never be a consistent 10 team winner. There are so many things changing in College Football right now. Any of these changes could play in their favor (like moving to the big 12), helping them become a dominant force. 🤷‍♂️

Baseball won the Pac 12 regular season and tournament but didn't show up in the regional. There should be no talk of Chips firing . Instead Az needs to inject more NIL money into the program.

Chip has proven that he can identify and develop talent, even with zero NIL. The department needs fund the program enough to be able to land 1-2 premium portal guys per year. We can’t have years where we know we can’t hit or pitch but roll out a team with those weaknesses anyways. Chip himself said that he lost bidding wars because the program is so broke.

Y’all crazy to not prefer this years teams compared to last. You obviously haven’t done your homework on the transfers.

Sanon was being shop around.. Arizona was very smart not to pay a HS kid so much cash... I don't mind them paying athletes. Sanon was going to hurt UofA in team chemistry and overall X&O.

I think I agree with this too

Arizona should pay no kid close to million or more.
I rather recruit other very good 2 or 3 kids and divide that same cash between them.

Hurley won't be able to manage that team.. I see way to many egos and selfish players that just want to Ballon there stats and NBA after 1 year

Clown take on AZ BB. Fire the coach after winning the reg season and tournament titles! Picked 9th in preseason! No NIL to retain players!

I do not enjoy seeing the story of a jock who is not smart enough to buckle his seatbelt. If ASU gets NIL money for that, then more creative thinking is needed in Tucson.
