When Bill was on the set at CBS one Sunday, they asked him what he missed most about playing. He replied that he missed waking up in the morning, knowing that he was going to go out and kick someone’s ass that night. Left Brent And the other guys on set speechless.

Easiest “interview” ever for Dan. Just let Bill riff.

My request would be to get Bill on once a week like Reggie. He is awesome!

Always have enjoyed how unique and upbeat Bill Walton is! He exudes positivity. Arguably the most fundamentally sound big man to ever play the game. Too bad his career was overshadowed at times by foot injuries.

It’s what he hallucinated about when he use to trip off acid in the 60s and 70s.

Two of the greatest centers in the game came from the same school with the same coach, 1 year after the other. Amazing.

I selfishly thought l had at least ten more years of listening to the wisdom and the insightful stories from Bill Walton, so l am soaring up all the unseen interviews l can find on the internet. This is one l had never seen before.

I bet Bill Walton and Terry Bradshaw would be best friends if they got to know each other.... They both just have a Zest for life!

@@pglanville Yeah, i was thinking that too. TB seems nice enough, but he’s probably a Trump guy, which is to say he goes wherever the GOP goes, and 90% of Republicans are Trumpublicans.

I interviewed Bill and Luke once. Huge honor but at the same time a huge headache. When interviewing Bill you can never expect to accomplish your goal. Just hold on.

The big redhead from La Mesa with such an interesting and entertaining personality. Not only was he a fantastic talent, he played for John Wooden, played with Larry Bird, and was mentored by Red Auerbach. That is a very impressive resume.
