When is it venting and when does it become gossip?

Thanks for discussing about this topic! It is a fine line that could be crossed when we are emotional. 🙏🏼

When I was married, (like over 27 years ago) I had just had my first baby (33 yrs ago) and I started receiving nightmares. Not just dreams of my husband having an affair, but conversations, faces, cars and license plates of this women... After six months of this and at this point feeling suicidal because he kept telling me that I was crazy. I just cried out to the Lord and told Him that I will carry this cross if it is mine (being crazy), but Lord, "Please show me the truth!"
Well, I got the truth and after speaking with this women (who hated me for no reason) She said that my husband was always talking bad about me to her and other women. That I was the problem and that's why he was cheating????
I honestly don't know what hurt me the most. The gossiping about me to other women or the cheating itself.

Wow. Both are such a breech of trust. I'm sorry. He was the one failing in those areas. Not you.

Ooooh good one, Christine... I went to Confession for this last Friday. It was in regards to all of the videos out for the pride month thing and The Chosen series refusing to apologize and remove the "3" pride flag" . Doesn't matter the size, it is the message that it sends. I told Father Thi that I can't just sit by and let it happen without some kind of comment about how sinister it is and how the symbol from our Creator (the rainbow) was highjacked... lol I still feel dirty about getting involved in even reading all of the comments... But this is when I put out the video on Ephesian 6. I tried to do it with a good nature, but I admit. It is a sore subject that makes me cry... I also told Father Thi that I can't fight with the demonic, it's like fighting with a drunk. There is no reasoning ...
For these things, I will always be a work in progress lol 🙋‍♀🙏

Good video on an important subject.
I watched the video on The Illumination of Conscience. I have 100% believed for many years. My question to you is, does going to Confession regularly and confessing past sins alleviate some of what will happen during the Illumination?
I know you are busy so only reply if you can.

You will see all of your sins regardless but you will see your confessed sins differently because God will still show you the consequences of those sins. No need to confess them more than once. True contrition is what is important.

@@DrChristineBacon Hi Dr. Christine. I dont confess sins already confessed. That would be to not trust Jesus in Confession. When the Holy Spirit brings up sins not confessed, I gladly confess them. For the past 20 years I have religiously observed the Feast of Divine Mercy. My question was more about those I teach about Divine Mercy and devotion to Divine Mercy Sunday. We must be in the state of Grace to receive all the Promises. Most people including myself are not in the State of Grace. What hope have we of receiving Mercy rather than Justice?
I live many miles from a City and can only get to Mass and Confession once a month. Even then the Priest is too busy to discuss things in depth. This is why I often ask your advice. Please be patient. I feel lost in space.

@@DrChristineBacon Thanks for your prayers. A little miracle happened which has allowed me to get to Mass and Confession. Thankyou.
