Jessenia, sit and have a quiet time for yourself. I have a mantra say this over and over to yourself. "Nothing could make me happier than I am right this minute." It comes from the angels and helps healing. God bless to you and your family. 😊
My dad had a colostomy bag for 16 years due to radiation treatment for prostate cancer. He never changed his bag because my mom took care of him that whole time until he was called home due to lung cancer at the age of 81. They were married for 62 years. Thank God you have a husband that took his vows literally 🙏🏽
Cancer runs in my family. I made a decision years ago to purchase critical illness and cancer insurance. I don't have an immediate family. My siblings have their spouses and children. I'm the only one with neither. I had to prepare financially so that I'm not a burden. This is something everyone should have. You never know what could happen. It's not a lot, maybe enough to cover 2 years so I can focus on my health if I need to. I'm praying for you and your family. I lost my mom to cancer, and watching what she went through was a wake-up call for me. I quit my job, moved her into my home, and we lived off her SS and Pension until God called her home. I'm just sharing as an FYI.
I endured the same journey I’m in my healing stage of my surgery. GOD Saved me and I am now looking forward to living life For JESUS. He gets all the glory
I hope you have a full recovery and never have to worry about cancer ever again. You're beautiful inside and out. You have such a soothing voice. I could listen to you all day. ❤
I live with a permanent colostomy (as of 7/10/24) due to gastrointestinal issues (not related to cancer). Honestly, living with a stoma is not “that bad”. It has enhanced my quality of life. I’d rather choose this option vs burning my body up with radiation. Nevertheless, we have to do what’s best for us all, individually. Happy Healing sis! 🕊️
@@bettymillner780 I suffered and advocated for myself for years before I finally got to the bottom of my issues. I would encourage you to keep pressing until you get the answers you not only want, but deserve!
My journey started similarly to yours, with a diagnosis of hemorrhoids, but it has taken a different path. As you mentioned, every story is unique. I underwent the same course of treatment and initially responded well. However, while my tumor shrank from the top, the bottom part remained, leading to a permanent colostomy. For the past two years, I’ve been battling metastasis in my lungs. I’ve had two lung surgeries and undergone radiation twice, and now I’m facing another suspicious nodule. It feels like a never-ending battle. I’m truly glad to see your journey has taken a different turn, and I wish you all the best.
Doctors don't seem to realize that people can have two problems at the same time. You can have hemorrhoids and cancer. They should consider that the simple, obvious answer may not be the end of the problem.

Totally true. I had a very itchy rash on my breast and my primary care told me to use cortisone cream. When that didn't help, he told me to use moisturizer. I went to see a surgeon at a cancer hospital who diagnosed me with a rare form of breast cancer and saved my life.

Thank you for sharing your story. My mother ignored her symptoms, and until it was too late, we kept trying to get her to go but always delays then finally got a colonoscopy, but they couldn't get past due to the blockage. We found out it was stage 4 she was so sick per blood test that they couldn't operate so we was getting ready for chemo and week before her colon preparation then went septic. Please listen to your body and stop making excuses before it's too late. She lived for 3 months but the it's so hard to watch 😢 having to go through more than she'll had too death killed us all in small way PTSD I face everyday. Do it for your family get checked please. Colon Cancer kills all ages without treatment.
@alphaomega1351 no need to be rude when someone shares their faith. The lady in the video is also a believer, so the comment they made was appropriate.
No. Someone's energy says nothing about their skills as a dr. This is why women get made fun of for making decisions based on emotion instead of logic.😢 being sick and at risk of dying you want the BEST dr. Maybe that's a person with great energy- but maybe it isn't. I can't believe this even has to be said. How embarrassing 😢😢😢.
@@222lanna I personally would not want any doctor on my team who has poor communication skills and a careless disposition. The journey is difficult enough as it is. Research shows that positive thinking can prevent a host of medical illnesses. Positive thoughts may also improve your immune system's function while speeding along recovery times. So no, positive energy and manners may not be important to you. And positivity alone will not cure the disease. However, for every story I’ve watched on this channel, firing rude doctors has proven to be a key factor in positive patient outcomes. It is an important part of healthcare to have a competent, reliable, mannerly, and well educated team. Proverbs quotes that “when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom". I’d much rather have a humble physician on my side. Humble physicians who are wise, and don’t mind if you explore all your options, or recommending a doctor because the case is outside their scope of expertise.
@klacier5111 I am sick. When I found out I was devastated. The first dr I met gave me hope and made me feel amazing- and then proceeded to almost kill me😔. Pure lack of knowledge and skill. Period. 2 surgeries later I was contacted by a different dr who basically said I think I know what's wrong with you and he saved my life. He wasn't nice or encouraging in any way but SAVED my life when others were clueless. When you are sick your entire family is sick because they are going through it with you and we ALL learned a huge lesson with my experience. And god forbid one of my children ever get sick I will want the BEST not the nicest.😒
@@222lanna I would suggest to agree to disagree. As a multi chronic illness patient, I’ve engaged with a host of doctors over the last 2 decades . I’ve encountered my share of arrogant, apathetic, physicians. But as I said earlier, competency, reliability, mannerly, and a well educated team is important. Every specialist I’ve fought so hard to acquire, has all of those attributes. My health has improved a significant amount, and though I will never be free of illness, I have a team of professionals who are appropriately supportive, and knowledgeable. Again, watching these videos has shown that more often than not, a respectful, professional, and sympathetic doctor has been the difference between living and dying for many patients.
Thank you so much. You are a beautiful person. You are strong .continue with organic never processed food, soda . Avoid sweet and sugary food and drinks .Eat a lot green vegetables. Buy a juicer and start juicing with organic veggies.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. All the best wishes and blessings to you! You mentioned that you were taking birth control pills. It's so sad you didn't know that they can cause cancer. Considering that you had several miscarriages and constipation (which means estrogen dominance), noobody told you shouldn't have taken birth control pills because they contain a huge dose of estrogen, which often lead to cancer... I hope you have a full recovery and never have to worry about cancer again.
Thank you all for the sweet messages! I am in full blown tears 😢 happy tears.

Period sometimes doctors have no bedside manner

You mentioned that you were taking birth control pills. It's so sad you didn't know that they can cause cancer. Considering that you had several miscarriages and constipation (which means estrogen dominance), noobody told you shouldn't have taken birth control pills because they contain a huge dose of estrogen, which often lead to cancer...
I hope you have a full recovery and never have to worry about cancer again.
Thank god you had the husband you did. Thats love
Glad u made it❤
