The Becker 1490 "exquistic" radio cass/cd changer is a tricky thing ! On-off button and sound volume not functioning as expected. Very known problem in Beckers. GREAT video.

Yes it should. Check batteries in remote as well.

Thanks. No, just out of winter storage when I remove the battery. All power to computer is cut off and you must resync everything.

I do not know. I resync everything each spring and have not notice a difference.

I do not know. You could try a fuel system cleaner like Techron. It helps brake up and clear out carbon deposits.
