    I searched for headlights modeling tutorial for so long but never found one that showed how to add details in them thank you so much for making this video, it helped alot.

    Not even a Maya User, (Blender user myself), but the techniques for this series are very versatile. Thanks for this. Could you provide a link to the headlamp diffuser pattern image you used?

    I used Maya 2011, 2015, 2016 and 3ds Max 2015, 2016 and 2018 are great for my work and business or educational use.

    This was one of such things I wanted to learn badly, thank you for making this. Until now I was using normal maps to get these details, but now I will be able to model these and not try to worry about finding good normal maps.

      Wow at 7:54 I never knew you can use connect tool like this.

      One thing I would recommend to you, keep step snap on by default of rotate tool, I keep mine at 15 and it is a time saver and whenever you need to get free rotation you can always press J.

    can you explain more about soften/harden edges, and when you would use soft/hard edges in general?

    How good do you thing is Mayo for archviz? I dont really like that much to work with 3dsmax and I love to work with blender but I hate Cycles

      Maya works great for Arch Vis, I have quite a few tutorials on but I use Maya and V-Ray but Arnold would work great too.
